To my enemy,
I hate that we stand opposite one another, angry, arms crossed, displeased in what is before us: an angry person, and not a friend. We are very similar, unfortunately so. It’s only our thoughts and the actions which they bring about which separate us- we are all living things with desire after all - and with that in mind, I empathize with you alone. But, even so, there are things we need to discuss:
We must talk about immagration. I understand the whole of this stick is covered in shit, but it is obvious to many that you have been missguided; you’ve been lolled into believing there is a war happening, a very slow and steady one without a leader, at the Mexico border. Factually, this is not occuring, and, when one does research on the effects immagration has on America, they find it is to everyone's benefit. Immagration not only brings nearly 10 billion dollars to the working class annually, the United States fundamentally requires it to maintain its current rate of production. These people from other countries fill in the gaps our current population cannot, or will not fill in our economy. Across the board, people arriving in America, is a good thing for us all, and to see you discredit this fact makes everyone wonder about your true motive for keeping them out.
You may say (due to some presumption of her proclivity for crime) that it is not the immigrant’s effect on the economy, but her effect on society. I hear this argument quite often, and each time It reveals the user’s lack of awareness in their words, as well as, the criminal acts which America inflicts on helpless immigrants seeking refuge everyday. Again, when one does research on immigrants' criminal rate, they find that they are one of the lowest populations to commit crime overall. Furthermore, it has been proven that immigrant people commit less crime than the native population, only increasing to the average upon the Third generation. This indicates that it is not the immigrant who poisons the well, disfiguring anglo culture brutishly, but the American citizen, who assimilates the foreigner into one of his own, transforming them into another disbanded patriot.
I would also say, if we are to subjugate the most aggressive population, get rid of the people who truly are the most violent, why not men, particularly young men? They by far are the gold medalist in criminal acts. In fact, one can see this trend of men commiting crimes all over the world, at an alarming rate, but yet, putting everyones’ lives in danger, we stand by and allow them to continue. While obviously obsured, my point is this: each reason we all agree men deserve the right to be in the United States; men are not all the same, not all men are aggressive or criminal, perhaps your dad is nice; immigrants deserve the same charitable acceptance, the same understanding of individuality within a whole. I ask, what is the difference between some Man and some Mexican?
Moreover, with such focus on people of violence, I must hold a mirror up to you my Enemy, and show you who you are apartied to. Your stressing over immigrants is allowing America’s true, current, perpetrators to strike. I ask, who is today’s terrorist? Do kids go to school fearing people of color shooting them down during second period? No, it's young, conservatitve, white men, with an ample amount of firearms, and no friends. These terrorists often leave manifestos which outline their political beliefs, their media consumption, and who they hate. Does it make you uncomfortable that y’all ideologically share a lot, and it seems, these terrorists see themselves as martyrs for your cause? My enemy, from an outside perspective, we see your contemplation as complacency with these terrorists, for if you see them as bad and desire what is good for America, we should redirect your fervent anxiety towards immigrant crime, to the fight against facism. But I feel you will disagree with that.
So, if immigrants pose no threat and bring about great wealth, it would only be logical for us to see this natural exchange of people between nations as good. Your continued opposition to this obvious beneficial phenomenon only makes me curious about your honest desires. It’s okay to think the US should have a limit on immigration (as it already does), and it does not make you racist to want to critique how that system transpires in reality, for you have the right, as an American to do so. But when you focus all your attention on brown immigrants specifically, imply they are born with an innate sense of criminality with your worries, and that their inhabitants will lead to parts of our country transforming into swarthy sub-states of which one would have to squint to make out their anlgo past. I wonder if you are afraid of these people. There seems to be something blocking you from understanding that they are kind humans, just like you and I.
I believe your news consumption has cucked you into seeing a fantasy world, a place where you are a victim because of your privileged status. Being white in America allows for certain privileges which make life easier, this is a fact, and denying this is either purposeful obfuscation of the truth, or mere ignorance. As for the ladder, there is nothing to be ashamed of, we are all learning everyday, but for the former, understand you are committing an awful act for all people, as lies only make things more complicated; Only cowards turn in face of the truth.
The United States only carries the facade of equality, the bureaucratic stamp of approval, and beneath this thin vanier, a deep history of white-supremacy lies; when a disproportionate allocation of federal funds, such as the GI Bill heavily favors white Americans over black, it also economically handicaps them. This kind of legislation pushed through during a far more openly racist America, no matter our growth as a people now, continues to ravage black homes with familial poverty. Even if you can point to ten friends, provide me with a tragic anecdote for each, the fact would still remain, their ancestors were the beneficiaries of the United States’ use of black bodies to build their country, the United States’ implementation of racist laws, and continued bias towards the suppressive majority. The practice of chattel slavery formed the US insuch, racism is an inharint aspect of our government. It is subtle in some ways, particularly in the specifics, but we can easily point to its ramifications, how it affects those who were once enslaved so blatantly that even the blind can make out its finer details.
Currently we must face the fact that the American government is holding innocent people, people who sought asylum legally here (which requires one to file Form I-589 for asylum 1 year AFTER entry into the US), in concentration camps.
It was revealed recently that ICE uses a chemical called HDQ-Neutral over 50 times a day to prevent the spread of COVID as well, which, unfortunately, is advertised to be hazardous to people. ICE’s use of this chemical has caused the detained women, children, and men, to bleed from their noses, rashes to form on their skin, and for it to be painful to breath. What is the difference here between the way Nazis treated Jewish people, and the way they are treating Mexian asylum seekers? It seems we are both locking up the innocent and forcing them to inhale toxic gasses, and for what, prosperity as a white-people? This sounds awfully close to Facisim, and you should recognize this, you were alive during WW2; these things start slowly, but end, always, in tragedy.284Please respect copyright.PENANAn8fW7VwZmM
