From the peeling blood off your skin you should staunch,

Midnight blues blast my soul from their unsanitary cannon.

Into the vast complexity of the universe I am launched,

Conveyed my brittle, bitter being into orbit.

I am privileged for being ill.

Guts toss and turn,

Aching feeling of wallowing in remorse,

Dull throb of longing for a time in which one did not exist.

Anguish does not fall far from the decaying tree of morbidity,

Disgraceful to carry the weight of the world upon your shoulders,

Morose state of mind causes burning welts to form upon your conscience.

Apples rot,

You do not,

Tremble between the slots of condescending swaths,

Avoid victimization courtesy of brutal swats.

Live your own life,

Let me live mine,

Keep out of my way,

You will be shoved.

Learn from me when I say,

Keep to yourself, keep your head down,

Never lift your mind's eye,

Never pay her any mind,

You will survive.

Do not speak,

Rivers will muffle your agonizing screams.

Do not let your demons take control, do not permit them victory.

You see what happened to me,
