My hand traced on the bed , until they met a fur ball. The kitten purred after receiving a scratch behind it’s ear. Never would have I imagined that in my whole life would I ever get a pet again.
The kitten laid on its back asking for a scratch on its belly. Realising that I had to get out of bed. I sat on my bed with my bangs that covered most of my face.

The maid brought lukewarm milk in a small bowl. I placed the kitten before the bowl. It sniffed for a while then started drinking it. I crouched near it. I could feel all of their stares on me.

“ ahem.....you guys can continue your work” it took them a while but the got back to their work but of course they would glance a bit. The kitten finished the milk , I picked it up. I was cute at how it licking its mouth. “Gasp!” the maid gasped. She looked shocked. “What?” She didn’t answer quickly. “ uh nothing”. I turned to leave.

“Come bathe the kitten in my washroom”. She quickly nodded. I left the kitchen. “ Oh My god did you see ........yeah I saw.........oh my she smiled........her smile is just like madams”. They started talking as soon I left.

She carried the kitten to the washroom. As she washed it you could tell she was quite skilled. As bathing it she softly tried it with the towels. “You are quite skilled at it” she froze again. “ uh I I have taken care of a lot of cats before” you could tell that she was proud of it.
