She stood at the entrance with an attacking stance. Her appearance could only be identified by the light caused by the thunder. “I...I will kill that boy then.... then every thing will go back to normal”. The dagger in her hand pointed at the man that guarded the little girl with his one arm. Her eyes didn’t show a speck of sanity. “Nothing can be the way it used be please go back live on a different life” You could see her lips trembling as if she was on the verge of crying but she changed her sorrow into anger. “If I can’t have you then no one else can” She charged with the dagger towards that man , who bravely charged towards her. The dagger went swiftly into his lower abdomen. You could see the beginning of the dagger shining through the flesh. The madwoman pulled out the dagger ,half regretting what she had done, the man fell on the ground groaning with pain. But that wasn’t the end of it, she darted towards the little girl , wearing a floral patterned frilly dress. Patronised with fear the girl stood there gazing at the silver coated with blood aiming at her heart. Swiftly the blade went through the blade and met with her heart. “Argh!” I opened my eyes that met with a dark ceiling. My heart was beating at an unfamiliar speed that the beat could be heard in my ears. I rolled from the middle of the bed to the cupboard reaching for the emergency button. It was as if something pierced through my heart and the pain spread with every beat. The pulse reading watch was beeping like crazy. Finally my aimless hands had reached the button. I pressed until my calling was responded with a shuffling sound of feet from outside. Sylvester came running in , he grabbed my shoulders pulling me from bed and helping me sit. “ Its alright.. we will do the breathing exercise and the pain will go away” He tried to look as calm as possible but he could not hide his worried expression after he saw my pulse rate. I had to softly inhale and exhale regardless of the pain. After a couple of minutes my pulse rate dropped back to 80bpm. “My lady...... has the pain gone away now”. I moved my head in a slight nod. “You should dress up we have to leave at 9”. Of course.... how could I forget the day where I was pulled into a fate I never wanted. “Ah before leaving could go and check the red leathered book in the study”. He was my butler but it was as if he my fathers puppet to make sure that I do everything the way it should be. I signalled him to leave. I traced my hand on my collar bone. The smoothness of it disturbed by the remainder of an old scar.
