Sins of Madison Lee is my first novel and work. Madison Lee was created originally as a role-play extra for an RP group based on Richelle Mead's Vampire Academy Series. Along the time and creating stories, I started coming out with a background for the character and decided to try to gather the pieces and make a story of it.
Some characters were originally based on friends of mine, their personalities, and the way they act mostly, some other things were originally created by me. The most important character Cammy was based on a friend of mine at the beginning, but because of personal issues, the character was remodeled to the French rich spoiled rich girl you will now over the book.
Most of the situations told in the book are based on real-life events that affect society (bullying, self-harming, etc...) and personal experiences, only explained in other ways and sides. The original idea of creating Madison's life was joining different things which I actually personally love; Australia, France, and the USA.
Why Los Angeles? I believe it's the most famous place to create a book and although is used in so many stories already, the city of Los Angeles together with Santa Monica to create the perfect beach environment needed for the whole plot of the book.
Although most of the characters are European, each symbolizes different cultures and aspects of its country (the way of talking and the way they act)
I started this project about three years ago now and I hope that I achieve the dream of creating a best seller. The book itself reveals a bit about me (from a different perspective though).
