"Can you listen to the nonsense you just said? You burnt down everywhere and he is dead? You can't kill Merlin! ___ oh I hate to call him that, you can't kill Mrrydin, he cannot be killed so easy Buffon!" Kaizar's scream echoed the palace
"What can we do? My king, to correct this?" Alkamis stuttered with his head bowed
"If Mrrydin wages war with us then we will fall"
"E... Except M..My king, perhaps if we bring his like then we can be able...."
"Get out of my sight Alkamis I need to think I'm not a fool like you! That only thinks after he acts, get out of my sight! All of you leave!''

You walked a long way with Geoffrey and Afina and it seem like the journey wasn't going to end.
"How long more ?" You asked
"Few miles left" Geoffrey said "but we retire here for the night and continue by morning"
Afina nodded "okay master"
She and Geoffrey made a small camp for the night. You watch them without giving a helping hand
"A little help with making the fire shouldn't be so hard Arthur" Afina said
You looked at her without moving a feet, she hissed and pushed you away, gathered few woods and set the blaze. You sat aside from them, they talked and looked at you causing you to feel an irking sensation. Everything happening just don't make any sense, Rose last words puzzle your mind Everytime; that Geoffrey should not be believed but you should learn from him. You fear if you are making an ally with an enemy or a friend?. You got up from where you were sitting and walked closer to them.
"Where are we going?"
Their eyes moved from the fire towards you,
"E'aldor, a small village where we will be safe" Geoffrey replied
"Why do you think we will be safe there?"
Afina rolled her eyes "do you know of a better place Arthur?"
"No. But I'm asking because everything is confusing, I have spent years with Rose but she never mentioned Merlin to me...."
"Same way she never told you she was Queen until you asked, she is no talkative" Afina was ready to answer all your questions rudely
" And she never told me she has a right hand woman that appeared suddenly to claim being acquainted with her, if you are so dear to her she would have mentioned you to me as she said of Geoffrey"
"If you have trust issues why not take your own path, we are not compelling you to join us, make your choice"
Geoffrey said nothing he watched as you both argue
"And why shouldn't I doubt you miss right hand woman? when the knights of king kaizar invade your cottage, even the great sorcerer was killed but you weren't, why? Why didn't they kill you? How did you escape?"
His questions infuriated her even more, she stood up and looked at Arthur straight in his eyes "you rude brat! You dare not challenge my honor"
"I need answers lady, I find it hard to trust strangers"
"That's why you fall defeated when you battle with the knights of kaizar because you Never obey and believe too much in your ego!"
"It was a crowded defeat"
"A real warrior defeats any number of opponent not just a single battle, wink!"
"How dare you!?" You said in furry pulling out your sword(not the widow's sword)
"You want a fight? Incredible, this will be a special lost to you from a woman to describe how weak you are" she said pulling out hers too
"Both of you stop!" Geoffrey ordered "there is nothing to prove with this. Arthur, I understand you have issues trusting people and I'm not asking you to trust me but if we must defeat kaizar then we need to work together, but if you choose to work alone then you are free to go"
You stared at him for a while, to see kaizar die you will work with even your greatest foe, Just to see kaizar ruin. "Okay" you said almost in a whisper. You sat back glaring at the lady and her master. You promise to kill them if they show any act of treachery
"I'll go get more woods " you said to Geoffrey walking into the dark. You contemplated if Rose was safe as Afina informed earlier she has escaped from her imprisonment. If that was her plans then why did she deny you the chance to save her when you could ? And why did kaizar send his knights after Geoffrey's cottage? No one is really being open to you not even Rose your master, you thought you knew her but she is also a stranger, she kept a lot of secrets and directed you to join a man who she told you not to believe, how can you be with someone you can't trust. You heaved out a sigh "I am a lone warrior and my mission is to dethrone kaizar by death." You picked up few woods and walked back to the camp but you got startled to what you see, you take refuge quickly behind a lump of grass, you saw weird looking men, they were not knights just villagers but they were no good ones. Geoffrey and Afina were lying unconscious.
"They must have done something to them" you thought aloud. The weird men tied Geoffrey upon a long straight wood like a wild beast caught by a trap and did the same to Afina. They picked their swords, you watch them taking both away. You stayed still until they have walked farther a bit then You stood up quickly trailing them behind. They walked a long way into the dark woods, the last man heard your spurting feets and stopped, you quickly take refuge behind a tree, if you are caught they will sure have no sympathy. After a long wait you peep through one eye and saw him proceeding, you came out walking as careful as you could. They stopped at a cave and followed a path in.
"Who are they? What do they want with them?" You asked yourself
"They call them cave monsters"
You freezed as the unknown voice spoke, you wanted to turn but then you felt a blade beside your neck.
"Please, don't kill me" you begged for your life, thinking it is one of the weird abductors
"Of course no" the unknown said removing his sword from your neck "your living is more important to me, Arthur"
You scurried up to your feet and saw the unknown to be a man, built with heavy muscles, white hair and beards spread over his face.
"Who are you ?" You ask scared
"My name is zeddicus, I'm on a quest to kill kaizar"
"Why?"
"Kaizar imprisoned me for years" he chuckled "but I set free when the great warlock made a visit to his prison"
"What are you talking about?"
"I have answers to all your questions but I want you to be my Ally"
You looked at him with utmost bemusement.
