Elena watched, ever so confused. What was this about? What was with all the laughter? It was just such a shock to her! This was all so crazy. Yet Melanie seemed so calmed by it. It was just wild to her so she just had to ask, “What’s so funny?”

“You!” Melanie had to chime out, still admits laughter. This was the funniest thing in the world to her. What was she to think about this joke the other felt? It was such a strange feeling to her. Bittering almost. She couldn’t even contain herself. Time to answer some, not all, of the questions that were thrown at her. Her words were mellow and sweet, “Well for starters there is more than just you and I when it comes to dreamwalking. Wouldn’t call it lucid dreaming. Definitely not that,” a chuckle escaped her mouth.

Elena was rather surprised by the reaction. It, frankly, scared her. What was she to do? Melanie was staring at her. It was scary as well. There was no smile on the other’s face. She was grimacing. That was it. That was the only thing left. “Why not we change the subject Mel?” She found a nickname for the other. A pleasant one.

Mel? She quite liked that nickname. It was all nice and pleasant. “Well dear, it looks like times up for this chat.” She smiled ever so softly: she had heard the feint sound of an alarm before Elena was back asleep in this world. Maybe they would be back to chat during El’s nap. If she had time to nap again. “I’m glad you’re back oh dear El.”
