Villains are just heroes whose story hasn’t been told.
The abandoned warehouse was a large, empty space with dusty, concrete floors and high ceilings. The walls were made of rough, grey bricks, some of which had crumbled away to reveal the metal support beams beneath. The windows had long since been boarded up allowing scant shafts of moonlight to filter through, casting a dim, eerie light across the empty space.
The air was thick and humid, filled with the musty scent of old cardboard boxes and rusted metal. The rafters creaked and groaned under the weight of time and neglect, and the silence was only broken occasionally by the drip of water from a leaky pipe. The overall feeling was empty, desolate, and forgotten -- a place where nobody ventured or cared about any longer.376Please respect copyright.PENANAvfn2JJd3iS
The vampire Azazel stood with his team in the center of it, waiting for their orders from their master. He could feel the unease in the air alongside them, as if his team knew something big was coming.
This is it. He thought to himself. Their way out.
They fucked up big time when they accidentally killed that politician’s son. A mistake like that should’ve called for their immediate execution at the hands of the De Magnus Nezerah family.
And it would’ve, had it not been for their youngest son.
An exchange. He told them. Their lives for their service. If they succeeded, they’ll walk free.
Suddenly, a dark, looming figure appeared before them. It was their benefactor, Eros De Magnus Nezerah.
Azazel approached him, bowing his head in submission. "Sir," he said, "what is it you require of us?"
The benefactor’s eyes scanned the group before him, taking in their determined expressions. He spoke with a cold, calculated voice.
"I have an assignment for you.”
Azazel and his team exchanged curious glances, wondering what kind of task could hold such weight.
"You see, there is a rare soul hidden deep within the depths of the Saga Moon Pack. It holds immense power, capable of doing unspeakable damage. And you shall be the ones to kill it."
The team's faces lit up at the thought of such an easy task. Azazel felt his own excitement bubble up within him.
Despite the ease of the assignment, he knew that he would need to be strategic and cunning to complete this task successfully.
"Sir," he said, "we shall not fail you.”
“I expect to hear good news from you soon. You do know what will happen shall you fail this.” Eros De Magnus Nezerah said, before disappearing back into the shadows.
And they did. Every last one of them.
Azazel and his team knew that this mission would be no simple feat, it wouldn’t be easy to even get close to a pack of that strength. However, they were determined to carry out the mission successfully, no matter the cost.
