Anyway, Alice stared at the being that stood before her as it checked a pocket watch it had in hand, smiling discontentedly. The watch promptly vanished, the spoon turning to her thereafter.

“Ah, there you are. Your name?”

Alice simply stared, spoonful of cereal dropping into the bowl she had before her. “A-Alice..?” “Lovely, just who I need. Now come along.” “Come along? I don’t even- who even are you?” “That, I'll explain later.” The spoon said, towering over her and frowning impatiently as a portal appeared next to it, gleaming colourfully.

“Now,” It continued, “my request still stands. Come along, my father hasn't given your world that much time.” Alice still sat, confused. “Your father..?” The spoon stayed silent for a moment, before speaking again. “None of your business. Now, off we go!”

A portal opened below Alice as the spoon walked through the portal next to her, finding herself in a dark area, lights glowing randomly, others blinking alongside them. She watched as the spoon appeared behind her, promptly clapping its hands.

Lights came on, a result of which was Alice realising she was on a spaceship. There were globes floating near the ceiling, crystalline in appearance, displaying worlds she knew, and many many more that she never thought existed. She turned around to receive a gleaming outlook into space, stars and lights shining, illuminating the centre of it all, her home planet, Solodorphous.

A lovely planet of blue and red, a transition to the latter the closest to the poles you get. The continents were simply one, a massive amalgamation of formerly separate bodies. It shone wonderfully, the universe surrounding it only complimenting its look.

The spoon walked up next to her, staring onward at the planet that laid ahead. Ah yes, how beautiful, yet how sorry it’s fate. Alice looked up at it in confusion. “What do you mean?” The spoon simply smiled. “You’ll see.”

And see she did. A large yet small diamond prism floated toward her home planet, a ship of sorts she vaguely recognised. A quiet whirring occurred, and before Alice could even process what was going on, her planet was no more. The ship had shot a beam- crystalline white but darker red the closer to the planet it got- that had obliterated the celestial body, leaving only the planet’s rapidly cooling core.

The girl stood there in shock, a moment thereafter she began crying with gusto, as the spoon looked upon her inconsolingly. “Seriously, it’s not that bad.” Alice stopped crying abruptly at those words.

“Realised, have you?” Said the spoon, interrupting her thoughts. “Well, you better hurry up with that then.”

She stared at the spoon, repeating a question she asked earlier. “What is wrong with you?” The spoon smiled this time around, speaking.

“A lot of things. And so will be for you if you don’t get off my ship.” It once again frowned at the end of its sentence, and to add a twist to things, contraptions she never knew were there, gory in their presence, sharp syringes and knives pointed at her. She was startled at this, and shrunk back. The spoon smiled.

“Wonderful. Now, off you trot!” One of the planets above her highlighted itself as she fell through the portal, the only indication of where she was going.
