Things got weird between our two protagonists at the end of chapter two, let's be honest. Practicalities aside, Jet's getting vulnerable and it's making him talkative. The dude's bound to say something to mess things up with Ceros. A rash of criminal one-armed men have turned up in Coarsnorth and Ceros's weirdly-shaped, bandaged arm has put him under a bit of scrutiny from the local guard. Luckily a little flash of his tattoo will get him out of the little binds, but it's not gonna be long before people start asking the real questions. Like, "What the fuck is Sirah Ceros Fellen doing in Coarsnorth when he's clearly been announced at every court hearing in Pheo for the last four weeks?" and, "What the fuck happened to Sirah Ceros Fellen? I totally thought he was a hunk and, you know, not a total mangled-looking mess..." and (most importantly - to the tune of "Yanky Doodle"), "Is that Ceros Fellen come to town/ riding on a donkey?/ WTF's he stuck in his cap?/ That lordling's clearly wonky."
