There are things in the world, that are not seen by all. Unexplainable things that can not be seen by the blind eye, however they are out there. Witches, vampires, and demons, all the creatures you choose to call fairy tales. How much of a fairy tale will you think they are after you read this story?
Just about sixteen years ago, a human couple had twin girls named Skylar and Scarlet, however these girls were rather peculiar. Instead of being born with dimples or an odd eye color, these girls were born with demonic powers. Their parents hadn’t noticed anything odd at first, but it started to slowly show. At first it was small, the toys the girls played with began to move on there own, but it would gradually grow. It had came up to a point where they could set something on fire without the need of a lighter or a match. They began to search for an explanation as to why the girls were born with such a curse, but were disappointed to find no answer to their problem. Their best bet was to just hide the truth and keep their daughters demonic powers a secret, and it would’ve been fine if they had known the hardship they would go through.
The sisters’ parents would occasionally go out to spend some time alone, and usually it would be a quiet and peaceful night. However one night, when their parents went out there was a disturbance in the peace. A demon possessing a man had gone and tried to take the girls, but to his surprise the girls fought back. At the time they were only eleven, so they couldn’t control their powers very well and the demon used that to his advantage and charged at one of the girls.
The oldest sister, Skylar tried to protect Scarlet, but ended up dead in the process. That’s what they all thought anyway, the demon was angry of his mistake, but still went after Scarlet. Sad and scared of the situation at hand, something in Scarlet just sparked and she used her powers to shake the whole house. The demon became unbalanced and Scarlet had set him on fire, the house almost began to crumble until she heard her sister call out to her. She had stopped shaking the house and kneeled to the ground, once the demon wasn’t on fire anymore he took this chance to take Skylar’s corpse and escape. Somehow, Skylar’s soul was transferred into Scarlet’s body just before the demon had killed her.
They didn’t know how Skylar’s body was transferred into Scarlet’s body, or why the demon was after them, all they knew was that for now they were safe. So the sisters or rather sister, awaited for her parents arrival, thinking of a way to explain what had happened. Being as young and gullible as she was and believing in her parents love for her, along with her confidence that they would understand, she was found heartbroken to see herself locked up in shackles and forbidden to roam outside of her house again.
