“Am I supposed to know?”
“I mean you are the witch here not us.”
“Haha very funny, now do you mind explaining how you can see her when she’s in your body?” He asked impatiently.
“Gladly!”
“I’m not really sure what you would call it, but I can use my soul energy to give her a physical form. Only to be seen by me of course with a few exceptions, I can manipulate who sees, hears, and sometimes even touch her. However I can touch her without using any of my soul energy because she’s still alive, it’s only when those who are not connected to her I have to use my soul energy to manipulate touch.” I explain.
“It sounds to me like you have created a new power, nice you should name it.”
“Name my power? It’s really just using soul energy, there isn’t anything powerful to it.”
“Not right now maybe, but sometime in the future you’ll need to use that power to protect yourself.”
“Well when that day comes, then I’ll name it. However for now, I need you to teach me every kind of magic you know.”
“EVERY KIND!? Are you sure Scar, I mean you’re already so powerful. Do you really think that you need to gain more power?”
“Not particularly, look when I burned my house down, I killed Scarlet Cooper and her demonic powers. If I’m going to fool them, I need to become someone completely different. So, why not a powerful witch? I’ll only use my merge form when a worthy opponent or when someone simply gets on my nerves showing themselves during battle. Even if they find out I’m still alive, they will still be fooled by me because I pose as a witch.”
“My God you sound like a fucking Knight of Justice, seriously what time were you raised in the medieval ages?”
“Well I was locked in my room that was pretty much a dungeon for the last five years so sure let’s go with that.” I say with a cold closed eyed smile that could pierce through your soul, the diner man shivers as he tries to save himself.
“Okay, okay I get it I crossed a line there. I’m sorry, I won’t do it again.”
“Good choice.” I lose my deadly smile, and had come to a realization that I didn’t know the diner man’s name. “Oh, I just realized that I haven’t learned your name.”
“Oh you haven’t, well I guess we got so caught up in witch talk that we didn’t get a chance to bring it up. The name’s Anderson, I’m a third degree warlock who gathers information to crack unsolved puzzles in the other realms.”
“I asked for your name, not a whole description you would usually use for a dating website.”
“Well, I figured that since I know so much about you and you know so little about me, I might give you a little something to get to know your mentor.” He says with a smirk.
“Whatever, let’s just get to work okay?”
“Alright then, since we already worked on summoning. Let’s work on the remaining conjuring type magic, creation and teleportation. Now we only have so much time, do you think you can keep up?”
“Please, this will be as easy as killing a demon.”
“I was hoping you’d say that.” He says with an evil smirk plastered on his face.
