The water surrounds me, filling my lungs and causing me to want, no need, to cough. But I can't.
Because I'm drowning.
I look down at my leg, everything blurry because of the water, and reach for the chain attached to the steel ball that was pulling me down, down, down.
The metal is cold, so cold but it's something. It's a feeling other than pain and suffering although it may not be the one I want, it's enough.
I start to thrash, my air is gone and I can't get more. Darkness consumes.
Forget you, Jason. Was this really necessary?
