Ink bleeding on the paper

Lead marking up the parchment

It’s like the pen, pencil is moving on its own

And I’m just

Holding it up

Or maybe its the click, click, clicking of the keyboard

The words forming on the screen like magic

Or is it just my imagination?

A dream I want to be reality?

Or maybe it's just a dream

And I actually don’t want this

But then why am I so happy

Whenever the pencil touches the paper?

Why does it bring me pleasure

When I see the 50 page count?

The happiness like when Noah finally found land

When the dove came back with the green

Or when the starved eat

And the mute sing

Trees supply my form of oxygen

Just as they supply yours

The pencil and the paper

But what they don’t supply is the words in my head

Words taught to me by teachers, peers, books, and adults

All forming into a new language

My own language

But everyone knows this language

Everyone can understand it

Most importantly,
