I haven't been very active on Penana. However, whenever I am, I work on my story The Concept of the Magon World. I have goods news on that.1007Please respect copyright.PENANAQiQgVcJLkf
First off, I know not many people read my story. Hopefully my dedication over the past several months might persuade some new readers to read it, though, so I'll stay optimistic. However, I consider the story here on Penana to be completely different than the story I have in my mind. I have spent these past months (since July) rewriting the lore, recreating a map, and considering to rewrite the entire story. This is because I plan to replace the story on Penana with a more up-to-date one that coincides with the story I've envisioned.1007Please respect copyright.PENANA0HHsijIM4p
I've finished lots of work on the map and lore of the world and setting where the story takes place. I would say that 40% of the Magon region is complete, and 10% of the entire planet is complete. This is an ideal state, as it is much more than I need to rewrite the story with the accuracy I want to portray. You can find a Dropbox folder with a few files (mainly images) of the unfinished maps and lore if you click here.1007Please respect copyright.PENANAoBc6bcLX5E
I will start rewriting the Avilsa Historia series now, using the maps and many papers I've been doodling on as reference for the lore. This might take a few weeks or a few days.1007Please respect copyright.PENANAgGda5qtqy0
I have renamed the story to The War of the Magon World, because the story mainly focuses on the Empire vs Everyone Else war and isn't the complete concept I have in mind of what the Magon World is. The story most likely will not be complete with one novel, but several. I'll probably combine the multiple novels into one solid book. Rewriting the story to up to what it is at now, part 20-something of 7 chapters, can take anywhere from a month to half a year. That's a considerable amount of time, but once it's done, I can be content with continuing to write the story and progress the plot.1007Please respect copyright.PENANAVBkJflGHQf
A lot of statistics have changed about the world. For instance, only a few thousand people lived in the main city the story focuses on: Eslientum. Now, however, the city is renamed to the Queen Egg's City, and has over 60 thousand residents, peasantry, nobility, and military combined. Its army can reach to a 10,000 Magon levy and a 15,000 Nigon levy. Why the changes, though? Well, it doesn't quite make sense, according to demographics, to have one of the most important cities in the world to just have 2000 people with 800 soldiers. Sure, it'd make a nice Mount and Blade battle, but realistically an army shoulder have hundreds of thousands of soldiers, like in Crusader Kings II. That means tens of thousands of soldiers per duchy, so in the case of Duchy Queen, that would amount to about 15,000 for one small county, 30,000 for one large county, and 35,000 for County Queen. Since the Duchy consists of two small counties, one large county, and County Queen, that would amount to about 95,000 soldiers in a full-fledged levy, and 71,000 in a reasonable levy. With several duchies making up the Central Province this would mean about 400,000 soldiers in a complete levy of the province, and with the East Province, that would be about 650,000 soldiers in the entire army of Scentral. However, benefit of the doubt gives 500,000 soldiers, so we'll settle with that 500,000 levy. In a regime the size of Scentral, demographics checks out. It's realistic.1007Please respect copyright.PENANAusQzt5bQ2y
If it's realistic, then it makes the story more real. That's what I'm aiming for. It will take a long time to completely revamp the entire story, but it's a dream I long for. So please bear with me while I do this.1007Please respect copyright.PENANAI9kjjfZaII
