"What do you want, Derek?" Maggie sneered as she took a step forward.  

Derek merely shrugged and gave a smirk in return before charging towards her. With a sudden swift kick to his groin he was down on the ground, his head lifted up towards the ceiling as he felt the pressure being pushed on his back, ready to break it if need be. Maggie stood in shock.

"I take it you're the man they call Devious then?" Michie announced as she placed more pressure on his back as he squealed in pain. 

"Not very Devious are you? I took you down pretty easily. Even Cole would put up a better fight that that and that's saying something." she stated as Maggie couldn't help but laugh at the situation. Mitchie only raised an eyebrow in return. 

"Now then, who sent you?" Mitche asked, folding her arms.

The only reply she received was a whimper. Mitche sighed and moved her foot nearest his head slightly and removed her left foot off of his back. Suddenly her foot which kept his head upright took a spectacular chip as his body flew inhumanly upwards by an unbelievable force as he was fired toward the wall and pinned there by Mitchie's left hand, her right hand pressed the butt of her gun against his abdomen, the safety clicked off as she spoke once again. 

"Answer my question." She said steely as she glared at him. 

Suddenly he began to laugh. "Seems your as good as they say Miss Carmichael, you're auntie would be proud." he finished with a smirk.

She pressed the gun tighter into him. "It's Detective Carmichael to you. She's no auntie of mine. What do you know of it?" 

Despite his predicament he laughed even louder.  

"How about I show you?"  Suddenly the room was enveloped in darkness.

They couldn't see anything.  Mitchie used her pyro powers to light the nearby oil lamps she kept nearby, just in case. Now the lights were back on she could finally see the situation, Devious had summoned several different Shadow Demons who were fighting against Cole, Matt and Maggie who had casted several sheild wards along with her own minor Demiva demons.  

"Oi, Cole! You a Demon Hunter or not?! Move your ass!" Mitchie yelled as he tried to get closer to Devious with no success.

The hidden shadow tendrils around the room had Cole caught. Mitchie used her flames to blast them away from him as he used his whip to escape their grasp. Suddenly Cole transformed his whip into a pair of dual swords as he used the shadow magic against them and sliced the Life Tendrils inside of them. 

Mitchie was amazed. Cole actually did something good for once?! Wow.

She began fighting the endless regenerating Shadow Demons along with the others, Maggie's ward magic was faltering, she was losing magic every second she summoned another demon along with a few ghouls.

Suddenly a shadow fist came out of nowhere and broke through her sheild and grabbed her and pinned her against the wall as the shadows snaked around her and made her magic useless.

"Ha! You're finished!" Devious began to cackle as he ordered his demons forward.

"Am I now?" Maggie questioned as she gave a small smile. The Shadow demons began to screetch pitifully as they suddenly exploded into wisps of darkness. After Maggie's sheilds had been destroyed she had used the remaining light fragments to pierce the demons causing them to explode. The impact then drained Devious' remaining energy as he struggled to stand. 

Vincent sped over to Devious and threatened him with a variety of swear words as he pinned him to the wall.  Or at least who he thought was Devious. 

His form suddenly dissolved into nothing as he reappeared in the far corner, cackling like an over acted villian. He raised his hands and prepared to summon his final trump card. 

"Try this on for size!" he yelled.

After a lot of flashy hand waving and chanting his trump card was finally revealed. Mitchie stared in shock as a wisp of smoke revealed a not very threatening ghoul, but a familiar one all the same. 

It waved at her as it ate a half eaten sandwich. 

"Hey, Mitchie - kins!" he grinned like a four year old as he waved frantically. Mitchie hid her face with embaressment as the other looked at her confused as Cole laughed at Mitchie's nickname before she suddenly yelled out,

"Dad! What the heck are you doing here?"
