My God. Why, did I agree to this?

Matt is driving me up the walls. Literally. I had to move my work up to the wall. Thank God for Anti Gravity Grape juice. It makes you and anything you touch defy gravity. Genius. Unlike Matt. He tried to Anti Gravitate his tongue. He put a small amount of the juice on his tongue and its now trying to hold up his entire body weight as it tries to float him up to the ceiling.

If zombies could get any stupider.....Well they can. But, he's still an idiot. Cole's not much help either. He is too busy throwing Mentos in Matt's mouth and laughing at him. Matt's got about six in there already. I hope he chokes. So much for a great informant. Sigh.

Matt's P.O.V

Damn. How does Master... I mean Mitchie do it? Work is boring. But she looks really sad. I feel bad. I said I'd help her. Oh crap my tongue's gone numb. Dammit Demon Hunter! Stop throwing Mentos in my mouth and help our Master! We promised. Grr!

Cole's P.O.V

Hahaha!! This is funnier than watchin' a Pyro Demon attacking itself. He's helpless! Haha! Mich needs to lighten up! This is great! Hang on...  

What's the zombie brain so mad about?  

And what the hell has crawled up Mitch's backside? She's frozen in shock?!

Mitchie's P.O.V

So if the Red Lotus Clan did this and this...and that? What links it together? Arggh!! Stupid zombie! I can't concentrate!!

'Sorry, Master.'

What the werewolf!! How can you hear me?!"

"It's our link. I am bound to serve you. I know what your emotions are and what you are thinking. We can speak with each other through our minds. They are connected. I know exactly where you are of every minute of every day, in case you want me to help you or are in danger.'

I was in shock.

"How come I don't know about this?"

"Its a secret all zombie kind share with their Master's. As I have done with you."

"Oh. So why didn't you use it back at the morgue when you got lost?"

"I can only teleport one person at a time. I've only recently figured out how to teleport, so I'm not risking it with three people. Since we are in a bad situation because someone triggered the alarm, Matt?! I don't trust you as much as Cole. And that's a very small margin between the two of you."

I glared at the both of them.

"If you break anything I will send a bullet through both your brains before you can even blink. Clear?"

They nodded, obediently. "Good." With a squeaky pop, I teleported to my home, left Cole in awe and took two seconds to return to Matt, and what did I find? Nothing. He'd gotten lost. After twenty five minutes he appeared with half a brain in his hands and was chomping heartily on the other half. "What?" He asked, with his mouth full. "Do I have some thing in my teeth?" I sighed, grabbed his hand and teleported him back, brain still in hand.

"The link can only connect when we feel the same emotion. Right now, we are both frustrated and sad. I'm sad because I can't help you and frustrated because of my unfortunate situation and the amount of Mentos in my mouth!! Damn you, Demon Hunter!!"

Why do you sound so...?

"Smart?"

"Yeah. That."

"Well I have always been smart. It's just hard for me to say what I what to because of my zombified speech. We zombies have always used small words. Brain. Eat. Kill. You get the idea. That doesn't mean we are all simple minded. I'm a lot smarter than I look. But putting those thoughts into action has always been difficult."

"Woah. Never thought of it that way. I'm sorry." I apologised.

"No need. Your my master. Hopefully our mind link will help you to see us zombies in a different light, rather than our usual idiotic, simple minded selves. Now, would you please tell that inferior Demon Hunter to stop the Mentos throwing and help me down!"

I laughed. "Sure."

I clicked my fingers once and saw that Cole had switched placed with Matt and was yelling his head of with his mouth full of Mentos. Matt was smirking at him. He nodded.

"Can you leave him up there while I inform you about the Red Lotus Clan? Please?"

I shrugged. I'd never been one for revenge.

"Alright. Just this once." Matt looked as if Christmas had came early.

He motioned to the nearby mustard coloured couch. I grabbed my notebook and pencil out of my back pocket and sat down and started to write as Matt began to tell his story through the link we now shared. Ignoring the muffled yelled of the idiot Demon Hunter.
