"Why are we returning to the castle again?!" I glance at Passia, who's holding onto one of Bergamot's back spines for dear life. "And why are we flying there?! Couldn't we just walk?!"
"Walking would take too long!" Bergamot shouts over the howling wind, wings flapping furiously. "It's faster to fly!" I see the castle in the distance, growing larger as we near it. 330Please respect copyright.PENANA8sd5XNEDzP
"That must be the castle," Basil says quietly, as Bergamot lands in the small forest. We hop off of the dragon, and Bergamot shifts back. Passia tosses him some clothes, and he goes behind a bush to put them on.
"You guys wait here," He says, and Passia opens her mouth to protest. He glares at her. "The soldiers don't know you. They won't let you enter. I'm going alone." Bergamot runs in the direction of the castle, leaving us. Passia scowls at me.330Please respect copyright.PENANAUOinNQJp0k
"He's right." Passia's frown deepens at this, and she stomps over to a tree, sitting down beside it. Basil stares off in the direction Bergamot ran in.
"He'll be alright, Basil." He nods at the reassurance, not entirely convinced.
