Jin -ah mumbled under her breath.
They continued to search for him in the field for awhile until they finally found Kang-dae, sitting in front of a girl. That particular girl, being Bora. Jin-ah felt rage boil inside her body as she saw Bora touch Kang -dae's hand, giggling. Jin-ah clenched her fist tightly, grinding her teeth together.163Please respect copyright.PENANA7d8HHxxMA8
Then, as if the moment couldn't be worse, Bora decided to place a kiss on Kang-dae's lips. The kiss seemed like it lasted forever. Kang-dae forcefully pulled away, taken aback by what she had just done.163Please respect copyright.PENANAhJIRTSQGDD

'That bitch.' She thought, as she blinked slowly, her tears escaping from her eyes.
Before she could even speak up, Do-yun approached Jin-ah from behind and covered her eyes with one hand, and with his other hand in his pocket. As he did so, it started to rain heavily, soaking them instantly.
"Jin-ah." Do -yun spoke softly. "Don't look at them. Don't look at him. Just look at me."
As he said that, he motioned for her to turn around to face him. Jin -ah didn't listen to him at first. Her attention was solely on the person who stood before her. When she obeyed Do-yun's orders, she saw him looking directly into her eyes, holding her head gently.
"Jin-ah." He breathed out softly his voice choking a bit. "Please...don't cry, Jin-ah."
Everyone around the duo had already been running out of the field, going to their cars and inside the school for shelter. Except for Kang-dae, who'd already been staring at Jin-ah and Do-yun. Bora was beside Kang-dae, holding onto his arm.
Do-yun covered Jin-ah's ears. The only thing that Jin-ah could see right now, was Do-yun's chest. It had been completely soaked. A couple of drops fell from his wet hair, landing on her skin. Kang-dae glared at Do-yun. He looked back at Bora, and motioned for her to shelter herself.
"Go inside, Bora. I'll catch up with you." He spoke, then breaking eye contact with her. She pouted and reluctantly released his arm, stepping away from him. She ran inside the school. He looked at Do -yun once again, this time more menacingly than before. "Do-yun.. " He snarled. "Let go of her."
"No."
"Why? Are you protecting her or something?"
Do -yun shook his head.
"Then why?"
Do-yun scoffed, looking out into the distance of the rain.
"You really don't know how much Jin-ah likes you, huh?" Do -yun spoke.163Please respect copyright.PENANAHaTuD5FxXJ
Kang -dae narrowed his eyes, confused at what the boy meant by 'like'.
"It's so obvious."
"What is?"
"Everything. She's always smiling when she looks at you. Did you hear me, or do you need to clean out that earwax you have?" He paused, choking up again. "It's only...ever you. You're the only person who makes her smile like that," He explained. "Stop acting like a fucking idiot, Kang-dae."
Kang -dae huffed in annoyance.
Do -yun smiled sadly. " I know exactly how deeply she likes you, Kang-dae. But you'd better hurry up," He paused, "Or else I'll have to take her for myself. I've been eyeing her for this whole time, y'know. If you don't do anything... you'll lose her forever."
"And what if I don't care?" Kang-dae crossed his arms, trying to put up a 'tough' act.
Do -yun glared at him. "I'm telling you, Kang -dae. There isn't another girl on this planet that's worth her weight in gold. So don't waste your chances. You shouldn't be so careless about he girl who's so in love with you!" He yelled, his voice choked up once again.
Kang-dae scoffed, walking away from them. As soon as Kang-dae was out of sight, Do-yun uncovered her eyes. He grabbed Jin -ah's wrist and started pulling her towards the direction of the trees. Once they arrived, he took off his coat and wrapped it around the girl's shoulders. It was still pouring, but it didn't make any difference. Besides, it would cover the fact that Do-yun's tears were streaming down his face.
"What happened? Were you talking to Kang-dae? I couldn't hear, since you were covering my ears. And then all I could see was your damn chest!"
He chuckled slightly. "Jin-ah...let's go inside first. We should find the others."
He placed a finger underneath her chin, tilting her head up. Jin -ah looked down at his fingers that were wrapped around her chin, noticing there were little drops of water on his fingertips.163Please respect copyright.PENANApLRoFr3OCJ
His fingers were cold. Too cold. Not like his body temperature.163Please respect copyright.PENANAfEr9g9qd5y
But in this moment, to Jin-ah, it seemed warm, and soft. Do-yun put his hoodie over Jin-ah's head, and held her wrist as they both ran inside the school.
"Let's find the others." He muttered.
"But what happened-"
Do -yun sighed. "We'll talk about this later. Just follow me, okay?"163Please respect copyright.PENANAiwmYd5TFUi
Jin -ah nodded silently. She couldn't believe everything that just happened. She cried, and the only person who comforted her was Do-yun. Jin -ah's gaze fell on her feet as she ran through the halls, hoping to find everyone. The duo stopped in a hallway, next to the library, finding the group. They all ran to Do-yun and Jin-ah.
"Yo, Jin-ah. You good?" Bon-hwa asked.
Jin -ah looked up and gave Bon-hwa a weak smile.
"I think."
"What do we do now? The rain outside doesn't seem to stop," Binna stated. Bon-hwa frowned.
"It's okay Binna. I'll protect ya! You and your pretty baby face can rest on my lap."
Binna laughed. "In your dreams." She teased.
They kept talking, laughing, teasing each other. Jin, however, wasn't joining them.
Her mind was busy remembering everything from earlier. When Bora kissed Kang-dae, Jin-ah couldn't help but feel furious inside. She remembered every single detail of those moments. And that pissed her off. Jin-ah wouldn't be able to deal with it properly without getting angry. And it wasn't fun feeling like this, but she couldn't control herself and that frustrated her.
Ae-ri noticed Jin-ah's concerned face, so she approached her.
"Did something happen? Did that jerk Kang-dae bully you when you found him? Did you find him anyway?" Ae -ri asked.
"Hm?" Jin -ah snapped out of her thoughts and looked at Ae -ri. "Oh no, no! It's nothing, it was nothing, don't worry." She assured the girl.
"Okay then..." Ae-ri trailed off, giving Jin a skeptical expression, but didn't say anything else about it.163Please respect copyright.PENANASOJVtOE16l
Kyong came running down the hallway. He tripped, stumbling right in between the two girls. Ae-ri was quick to reach forward and hold Kyong's hands, steadying him while trying not to stumble, too.
"Sorry." Kyong chuckled nervously, his cheeks turning red. "Just needed to tell you guys something important."
Bon-hwa chuckled along with Do-yun.
Ae -ri let out a deep sigh, letting go of Kyong's hands. Kyong then looked at Jin -ah for a few seconds. Then he turned his head and shushed them.
"I saw Bora and Kang-dae in a room alone."
