ARNOLD'S POV
That night, I started to get ready for bed with Gerald. I smooth out my sleeping bag and fluffed up my pillow then sat on my sleeping bag and faced Gerald.
"Phoebe had a great idea to make sure you and Helga are alone. The teachers are taking both classes on a hike tomorrow and we were all thinking that you and Helga could fake sick and stay at the camp." Gerald explained.
I smiled. "That sounds like a great idea."
"Except...Helga pointed out that Marley might think something is up between you two since the both of you are staying back."
I nodded and sighed sadly. "That's true..."
"Maybe you guys shouldn't do this. I mean, it seems too risky and you don't need Marley hating you more."
Gerald had a point. As much as I want to spend alone time with Helga, it's too risky to try and do something right now at camp. Marley isn't our only issue. There's the possibility of one of the teachers catching us or another student. Maybe it WOULD be best to wait till we go back home.
I got into my sleeping bag and rested my arm behind my head. I stared up at the tent's ceiling, a million thoughts running through my mind. Most of them being about Helga.

HELGA'S POV
The camping trip ended a few days later and we all headed back home. I would have to say that the camping trip helped me and Arnold's relationship advance. Before, we couldn't even kiss each other but now we can. Arnold is still with Marley, sadly but i'm not ready to give up. I've liked Arnold for so long and I deserve to have him. Not some girl who he met at summer camp last summer. And every since we came back to school after the camping trip, it's like Marley is keeping a lease on Arnold, not wanting to let him out of her sight. Can someone spell obsessed?
It is now a month later and that means the Homecoming dance is coming up in a couple weeks. I normally wouldn't care about school dances but it's a possibility that Arnold is going and a sad possibility that Marley will be going to as Arnold's date. I really want Arnold to be my date instead.
"So, are you asking Gerald to the dance?" I asked Phoebe as we walked to our lockers.
"He already asked me." She replied as she opened up her locker.
I blinked my eyes. "That was fast. We just got notified of the dance this morning."
Phoebe looked at me and smiled. "I know. What about you and Arnold?"
"You know he's still with Marley." I pointed out.
Phoebe nodded. "True. I really think Arnold should break up with Marley already. I mean, doesn't he like you?"
I nodded. "Yeah. A lot."
"Then he should break up with her."
"But he said he likes her too and cares about her feelings."
Phoebe chuckled and shook her head. "Arnold is still the same sweet boy."
I smiled. "I know. The same stupid and sweet boy." I chuckled.
"We should get to class." Phoebe said, closing her locker.
I nodded and started to walk with Phoebe to our class.

ARNOLD'S POV
"Are you asking Marley to the dance?" Gerald asked me as we headed to class.
I shrugged. "I don't know. I really want to ask Helga but..."
"Marley." Gerald said, finishing my sentence.
I nodded. "Yeah."
"Dude, you should just break up with her already. So what if she gets hurt? Helga's the girl you're wanting anyways right?"
I nodded. "A lot. I can't get her out of my head. And that night at camp when I saw her breasts, I can't get that out of my head either." I sighed.
"What do I do?" I asked.
"If I were in your shoes, I would break up with Marley and ask Helga to the dance."
I nodded. "I'll think about it."
