ARNOLD'S POV
"Hey, Arnold. Hey, Arnold. Hey, Arnold. Hey-" I slammed my hand down on my Arnold alarm clock that looks just like me.
I sat up then rubbed my eyes when I heard a knock on my door. I quickly get out of bed and pulled my pants on then walked over to my door and opened it up slightly to see my grandpa standing there.
"Hey, shortman. Breakfast is ready."
I nodded. "Thanks, grandpa." I then closed my door back and let out a sigh.
I glanced over at Helga to see that she's starting to wake up. I smiled then walked over to her. I gently kissed her forehead and watched her stir in her sleep before opening up her eyes.
"Hey, beautiful." I spoke softly.
Helga smiled at me.
"Hey, football head." She said then sat up.
"Breakfast is ready if you want to go downstairs and have some."
Helga shook her head as she got out of bed.
"No thanks. I should get home. I want to get home before my parents wake up."
"Are you sure?" I asked.
Helga nodded as she grabbed her dress.
"Hold on." I walked over to my drawers and pulled out a blue t-shirt with red shorts.
I walked back over to Helga and handed them to her.
"Wear these instead."
"Thanks." She said then started to put on the clothes.
"I'll give them back to you."
I shook my head. "Keep them."
We both smiled at each other till Helga spoke up again.
"I should get going. I'll see you whenever." She said, picking up her dress and purse then slipped into her flat shoes.
I walked with Helga out of my room and showed her to the door downstairs. I kissed her goodbye and watched her leave before going back upstairs to change into something decent then went downstairs to have breakfast with the family.

HELGA'S POV
"So, you two had sex huh?" Phoebe asked me as we stood at her locker that Monday morning.
"Yup. It was amazing. It hurt a lot but that didn't seem to matter. I got the chance to spend time with Arnold without Marley interfering." I explained.
"What does Arnold think about it?"
I shrugged. "He still treats me like a princess." I smirked.
"And Arnold told you that he's breaking up with Marley?"
I nodded. "He didn't say when so i'm not sure if he's about to do it today or already did it over the weekend."
"Well, here he comes now." Phoebe said as she looked past me.
I followed Phoebe's gaze to see Arnold walking down the hallway towards us.
"Hey, football head." I called out.
Arnold smiled as he reached me then kissed my cheek.
"Hey. Hey, Phoebe."
"Hey, Arnold. Did you break up with Marley yet?"
He nodded. "I did it over the weekend."
"And how did she take it?" I asked.
Arnold sighed. "Not very good."
"What did she say?" I asked.
"She...she just started yelling at me and then she slapped me across my face. Is my face still red?"
I looked over Arnold's face then shook my head.
"Nope but you did the right thing."
He nodded. "It feels like weight has been lifted off my shoulders."
I smiled then kissed Arnold.
"Uh oh. Ex girlfriend at two o'clock." Phoebe announced.
I pulled away from Arnold to see Marley walking down the hallway with a couple girls from her class. She looked over at me and gave me the stink eye before walking into her classroom.
"Don't worry about her. She'll get over it in a few days." Arnold assured.
"I hope you're right."

"So, would you like to see a movie with me today? We can make it into a double date and bring Gerald and Phoebe along." Arnold suggested as he sat in front of me in class.
Right now, we had free time to sit anywhere and talk to our friends. Gerald and Phoebe are giggling right next to me and Arnold.
I smiled at the idea and nodded. "Sure. I'd really like that."
Arnold smiled brightly then kissed me.
"I feel so comfortable with kissing you now." I admitted once we broke away.
"Really? You weren't comfortable before?" He asked.
"Well, up until now, I've always dreamt of kissing you. And now I get to do that. It feels...natural now." I explained.
Arnold nodded. "Same here. I thought it was going to be weird since you know, back then, we were sorta friends."
I nodded. "Sorta."
Arnold chuckled. "Yeah. Sorta. But i'm glad it happened."
I smiled. "Me too. So, you went to camp last summer and that's how you met Marley. How did you start liking her?"
He shrugged. "I dunno. I guess...she just seemed so cool. I guess I just felt attracted to her and when she told me she was going to this school, I was happy. Though, if I knew you were coming here and if I knew that you were going to change like this, I wouldn't have dated her."
I nodded. "Makes sense. I never told anybody that I was going to change. Well, except for Phoebe. I wanted it to be a surprise. Especially you."
Arnold smiled.
"I wanted you so like me so much and the only way I was able to express my feelings to you was to pick on you."
"Makes sense. Though, normally guys would pick on a girl if they liked her."
I nodded. "I know. And I felt like the only way to get you to notice me was to change who I was. I wanted to go from Helga the bully to Helga the friendly girl."
Arnold grabbed my hand. "I can't say that back then I liked you but I DID notice you. Especially when you did nice things for me."
My eyes widen. "Really?"
Arnold nodded. "Yeah. Especially in middle school. You were still a bully but you started to allow your nice side to come out and that's when I started to notice you more."
I couldn't believe what I was hearing.
"So...would you even date me if I was still the old Helga?"
Arnold shrugged. "I don't know. I wanted you to open up more. I wanted to see that Helga Pataki can be a nice and sweet girl and you're really cute too."
I sighed. "It's just that my attitude blocked out my cuteness huh?"
Arnold chuckled. "Maybe but let's not relive the past okay? We're together now and that's all that matters."
I smiled. Arnold always had a way of making someone feel better about themselves. That's one of the things I like about football head.
