ROSES OF INCEST
Chapter 16: Roses of Incest
A powerful roar was emitted by D when he was subjected to a strong discharge of energy, while Ghost Face extracted part of his vital essence, after having taken a huge sample of spinal fluid.
The shock stopped, but D, far from fainting, had enough poise to raise his head and gaze upon his enemy.
“I like your look D," said Ghost Face, mockingly, and then he went to his bizarre machine and put the samples taken against the will of the dhampir in special containers.
"My beautiful creatures are already the pinnacle of elegance and grace, yet they need more: the young vampire will provide them with her energy and mischief, and you, D, will give them your strength and lethality. Yes, they will be perfect in every way, not only the ones you see here, but also the ones you find all over the world, this machine is wonderful, with humanity at the height of its technological development, I was able to make my main machine share with the others the samples of you two almost simultaneously.”
Indicators were displayed on a monitor and suggested that all humanoid receptacles around the globe had already received the cloned samples of Seras and D.
“You will forgive me D that I am not present for your death, but I do not want to miss the spectacle of seeing this city consumed by the flames of hell, meanwhile, enjoy the blessing of pain.”
More shocks ran through the dhampir's body as his screams mingled with Ghost Face's diabolical laughter as he left the lab.
.
.
Darkness was omnipresent, of Alucard only his eye remained, the rest of his body had been devoured by cats formed by fire.
In the perpetual emptiness the sound of martial steps was heard, something like this was highly unusual.
A hand sheathed in white gloves paid no attention to the cats watching attentively and grabbed the eye.
“How pathetic you look, my servant," said Integra, who looked pitiful as her whole body was burned not by fire, but by a hell of perpetual ice.
“My mistress.”
“Alucard, I now give you the last of my orders...”
.
.
Ghost face watched from the palace balcony as London was reduced to ashes as his army of zombies marched through the capital along with his other aberrant creations. His joy was interrupted by a dark presence manifesting itself before him.
“You, how is it possible? A vampire without absorbed souls is not supposed to return from the realm of the dead.”
“My mistress Integra gave me her soul, necromancer.”
“Even so, it is impossible for a woman's soul to break through the barriers of the underworld.”
“My mistress is not a vampire, but Integra is the lady of the Hellsing house, many gave their lives for her and the cause of her noble home. She herself had the soul of her followers at her service.”
“Damn you, don't even think you can do anything, you may be back, but you're weak. You're already dead, while I'm alive.”
“I don't need to fight you, just release D and the girl cop.”
“Good luck with that, they're... they're busy dying right now.”
“Son of a bitch! What did you do to my children?!”
.
.
D's left hand had separated from the dhampir after much struggle, cutting off the current that tortured the vampire hunter.
“Stupid boy, that's why I told you not to get romantically involved. Same with Doris Lang, I told you: murder, bloodshed and destruction, that's your destiny.”
D had passed out and couldn't answer him.
"I guess it's all up to me now." thought the left hand crawling across the lab floor.
At that moment a shadow was entering the place.
"That thing is...!"
There was no time to think, following the shade, the necromancer would come and cast a spell against the spectral form of Alucard.
“I will enjoy devouring you, Dracula," said the arch-necromancer and opened his mouth until he dislodged his jaw, instead of a human denture, dozens of sharp teeth could be seen in a mouth that opened in the shape of a flower, lends itself to engulfing Alucard.
“If it's about eating, I think I'm more hungry, my friend,” said the left hand, which opened its mouth and sucked out the scratch that held Alucard.
Ghost Face threw a death ray at his strange enemy, but as with the previous spell, the left hand devoured the ray.
Alucard penetrated his son's mind and saw all his memories.
“Wake up, D, are you going to break another girl's heart again?”
D reacted violently, his powers inherited from his father manifested themselves, breaking the machinery that was holding him back.
“Hold on a little longer!” D shouted to the left hand and went to the machinery to rescue Seras.
Now the man seemed to be in a blood frenzy and broke the container containing his lover, who woke up when she was released from the anesthetic fluid.
There could be no exchange of words as suddenly the sound of several phalanges breaking was heard. D's loyal left hand was bursting into a thousand pieces.
D roared out loud and his right hand extended to the ceiling, his deadly sword heeded his master's call and flew straight into the dhampir's hand. Seras, for her part, took out her vampire arm.
"Together," they thought at the same time and attacked the necromancer before he had time to react.
Seras hugged D and this one hugged the girl. Seras's vampire arm surrounded the sword, and so it had a greater lethal effect as it penetrated the body of Ghost Face, who cried out and squirmed in pain.
The two lovers threw the necromancer's body into the bizarre machine, and the involuntary release of energy from Ghost face affected the strange mechanisms, which began to cast sparks and lightning bolts.
“No! My creatures! My beautiful creations, as beautiful as roses! My roses!”
The machinery exploded and with it, the others that were found all over the world because they were in line with each other.
Intense fire and shock wave vaporized Ghost face. Seras and D, they almost share the same fate but in the last second the dhampir took out of his body his force field protecting them both.
.
.
It was a new day but the sun could not be seen due to the thick smoke of the countless fires, a similar episode was seen in all the capitals of the world.
From the ruined site came Seras and D, watching the devastation when a murmur caught their attention.
From Buckingham Palace, the arch-necromancer's humanoids came out, protected by the armored containers, illuminated by the shy sunbeams that broke the black smoke in the heights. All of them were boys and girls of about eleven or twelve years old, they looked beautiful and the feline aesthetics shone in them as they had cat tails and ears.
The newborns were running happily through the still burning streets, pushing away the zombies and other aberrations, which apparently could not attack the infants due to genetic manipulation by Ghost Face.
A similar scene was seen all over the world, and human civilization had already fallen. Now D knew why the world changed so radically, but now Ghost Face had changed the past and with it the future where the dhampir came from.
“D, I could feel the master, he... your hand.”
“Don't worry, they did their duty to protect us. I'm sure they had no regrets about anything.”
“Look D, the wind carries the petals of the roses with it, they mix with the sparks of fire of the city. They walk away like the catboys and catgirls.”
“They now also have our blood and our essence.”
They both left the palace, the fight wasn't over, they still had to deal with the necromancer's zombies, but now they knew they wouldn't fight alone, they had each other for eternity.

EPILOGO
Human civilization had fallen, a stern-looking woman saw the ruins of London from inside an abandoned office building, which now served as the temporary headquarters of the Hellsing Organization.
Integra Windgates was brought back from the hell thanks to the help of Alucard and the left hand of D. The hand demon of the dhampir agreed to stay in the underworld to bring Integra back to the world of the living, the same as with Alucard, or something similar.
It was about time to feed her servant, Integra cut off her index fingertip and carried it up to her left breast, where a face similar to the one with D in his left hand rested.
“What a troublesome servant you turned out to be," mocked the woman, while Alucard's little face gladly drank the blood, dreaming that one day, somehow, he would recover his body and see his children again.
