After bidding our goodbyes, it was already dark outside. I went to take a quick shower. I hopped on my bed, taking out my journal and started working on my latest song.
I started having a few flashbacks about when my life used to be perfect. I thought about when dad would come back from work and buy dolls for me and jewelry for mom. I can’t believe that is the same person as a drug dealer and a liar.
I still don’t understand what happened that made everything go sideways but a day will come and I will know what truly happened.
I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't notice Celine walking into the room.
“Hannah, are you okay?” her face filled with concern.
That’s when I noticed that I was crying. “Yes, just tired.” I wiped my tears with the back of my hand and gave her a warm smile.
“Are you sure?” she asked me but I reassured her that I was fine.
I had a glass of water and went to bed early knowing tomorrow would be a big day.”

I woke up at exactly 8:00 am. That was one of the best sleeps I have had in a long time.
I took a shower and made my way downstairs to the kitchen. Mrs Smith joined shortly after.
“I thought you weren’t working today.” she smiled warmly.
“I thought it was only yesterday not today too at least until I have to go.” I replied back.
“Hmm I don’t think so. I suggest you don’t do anything or else Dante will get really mad.”
“Why?” I was confused.
“Well, why don’t you ask him?”
“Nevermind.”
At that exact moment, a woman around my age came squealing through the halls and straight into the kitchen.
“Hi Mrs Smith.” she squealed.
“Welcome dear. Would you like anything?”
“No worries, I ate on my way.” she shifted her attention to me.
“You must be the new girl Hannah.” I stretched out my hand for a handshake but she pulled me into a tight embrace instead.
I was shocked at first but responded to it.
Someone cleared their throat behind her acknowledging themselves.
I looked over and finally noticed Dante. He looked devastatingly handsome in in black button up shirt and jeans.
“This is Aurora and she is going to get you ready for the event.” he turned and walked away.
“Anyways, Let’s get started. We leave in 2 hours.” she said.
She dragged me to my room and placed down the bags she had in her hand. She unwrapped the boxes inside and handed me a black bodycon dress with diamonds everywhere on it. She placed the second dress on the bed and it was red with diamonds as well. I was still staring at the dress in my hand when she spoke.
“That one is for you and this one's for me.” I nodded, still staring at the dress.
“What’s wrong?” I shifted my gaze to her and smiled.
“Nothing, just I've never worn something like this before.” i said truthfully.
“Well you will from this day going forward.”
“What do you mean.” she smiled.
“Well I’m going to get you new clothes and stuff. It’s something I usually do for the new maids that move in.”
“Ohh” she has to be really rich to do all that.
“Don’t worry about it and let’s get dressed.”
For the next two hours, Aurora helped me with my makeup and did hers. I tried helping with the things I new how to do like powder and eyeliner. I got into my dress and it looked like I was a whole new person. Aurora looked stunning and I couldn’t lie but I felt so giddy in my tummy looking at how pretty I was.
“Ok girl you look dazzling.” I blushed and complimented her too.
“Ok let’s go, Dante’s probably waiting for us.
I followed her downstairs and I saw Dante’s intense blue eyes staring at me. I held them for a second and broke eye contact. My gaze shifted to Matteo who was also staring at me.
“What, do I look weird?”
“No, you look amazing.” he took my hand and placed a kiss on it.
I also noticed that he and Dante’s clothing were almost identical. Black and black except Matteo had a chain on and a watch while Dante had no accessory on.
Has this man always been like this?
“Let’s go.” Dante broke the silence and Aurora and I walked out first, Dante and Matteo following suit.

The party was not like I’d expected. It was filled with dangerous looking men in black some of them I saw guns in their pockets. They all looked so scary and intimidating.
I didn’t know what I was gonna do here but, I could tell that this was going to be a long night.
