I tried getting out of bed but a pain shot straight through my leg.
“Ouch” Mrs. Smith laid me back on the bed.
“You shouldn’t be moving at all. Here.” She handed me some pills and a glass of water.
“Thankyou.” I gulped the water with the medicine in the mouth.
After I was done, Mrs. Smith and Celine left telling me to get some rest. Leaving Dante and Matteo in the room.
We sat in silence for about a minute before Matteo broke it.
“I’m gonna head out now, see you later.” he winked at me.
“Bye” he exited the room and I felt it get hotter.
I turned to Dante and found him already staring at me. I looked away feeling hot and the tension in the air. I let out a silent breath.
“How do you feel?” I was so shocked at his question that I thought he was talking to someone else for a second.
“Yes sir, I feel much better.” I took off the blanket covering my legs. Inspecting my wound,I felt eyes on me. I turned to my side, he was staring intensely at my legs. I quickly covered up and excused myself to the bathroom.
I did my business, gargled with my mouthwash then came out. Dante stood up as soon as I came out.
“You have the next 7 days off until your leg gets better and don’t walk around too much.” saying that he left.I woke up in the same room as before. I looked around and found Dante, Matteo, Celine and Mrs. Smith standing above me.
“Oh dear you’re awake.” Mrs. Smith said in relief.
“Hey you scared the shit out of me.” Celine said
“Same” Matte replied.

I sighed, staring at my leg. The pain was still there but less since the doctor gave me some medicine but I went back to bed since there was nothing else I could do.

I looked over at my alarm, 12:22am. I slept till midnight and I don’t wanna go back to sleep. I sluggishly pulled myself out of bed and limped outside to the garden using the stair railing and wall to support myself.
Once I got outside, I leaned on the wall and crawled down so that I was in a sitting position. I stared up into the sky watching the stars and forming animals in my head.
I sensed a presence behind me and saw no other than Dante. I suddenly became self conscious due to the fact I was only wearing my pj shirt and shorts.
“What are you doing?” he asked bluntly.
I looked up to find him staring into space.
“Nothing, just couldn’t sleep.” he lowered himself so that he was sitting beside me on the grass. I wanted to ask him a question but was scared about what he would say but I asked either way.
“What are you doing here?” he stared at me emotionless.
I gulped and looked away.
“Well, I will take my leave now.” I tried getting up but grunted in pain.
“Stupid leg,” I muttered.
To my surprise, Dante picked me up bridal style and carried me to my room.
When we got upstairs, he placed me in the bed and tucked me in. I thank God that the room was dark or he would have seen me blushing.
“Thankyou” I squeaked.
He didn’t say anything and just stared. I cocked my brow.
“You don’t talk much do you.” I sighed
“You're welcome.” I smiled at him then laid back on the bed. He smirked then got up to leave.
I fell back asleep with a smile on my face.
