I handed the file over to him.
“These are the transactions between you and the Agosti family.”
He stared at it for a while then stared intently at me before he dismissed me.
I changed quickly in the bathroom before hailing a cab home.
“Hey baby” Julie had grown bigger by the day and although i hate to admit it, she looks more like her dad even though she has my nose.
“Mama, mama.” she started saying a few words
“Aww mama is back.” “Hey mom.”
“Hey honey, I didn't know you were coming today.”
“Oh I wanted to take the day off to see you guys and I just got paid; here.” I handed her an envelope with a sum of 5 grand. “I already paid the bill for the next two months and I can go buy groceries later.
“Oh sweetie you don’t have to do all this, I can go back to working.”
“No mom, you need to take care of your health and my job pays well so it’s fine. I will send my money every month for you and Julie and I will pay all the bills so you don’t have to worry about that.”
I pulled mom into a hug.
“I just don’t want you to be stressed and all and you need rest so now you don’t have to worry about anything anymore and if you need any help you can ask me mom.”
“Ok” she hugged me again. “Now, let’s go shopping.”

“You want that one.” I stared at my daughter as she pointed at the princess snow globe.

“Ok,ok I'll get it. So cute.” I picked her up and kissed her cheek.
“I got the bag ready.”
“Thanks ma. Wanna get some ice cream.”
“Ok, I think there’s one down the street.”
“Right. Let’s go.”
We bought a bucket of ice cream and three cones. Julie ate her’s and started crying for mine what could i do but give the cutie some more.
“Mama mama cream.”
“You want some more cream.” she bobbed her head up and down with her mouth wide open.
“So,how’s work?” mom asked.
“It’s been good and everyone treats me well.”
“Who is your boss? Is it anyone famous?”
“Um kinda i think but whatever. How have you been coping.”
“Don’t worry about me, I just try my best and besides i love kids and that keeps me busy.”
“I actually started recording my songs. Richard helped.”
“I haven’t seen him in a while,he must be really busy going on tours and all. How is Kevin?”
“He’s great, actually we talk every now and then even though he’s so busy, he makes it work.”
I looked at my phone when i noticed Celine was calling.
“Hey”
“Are you busing right now.”
“No not really.”
“Can you come later, i need to talk to you about something important.”
“Is everything okay.”
“Yeah it’s fine just whenever you’re free.”
“K bye.”
“Bye.”
Is everything alright, yes just a friend from work.”
“It sounded important, you should go.”
“I’ll go later but first, we need to get home.”
