The group woke up the next day, they all ate and decided to train a bit more.
Fidi: That fight yesterday was good, but you all still have potential.
Lykos: Actually, I have a question. What happened to Thor all of a sudden that he started to disappear?
Lykos went to hit Fidi with his axe but Fidi jumped back and dodged it.
Fidi: Wait, you didn't know?
Lykos: I was tired man, I just wanted sleep.
Fidi threw his spear at Lykos, but he blocked it with his axe.
Volk: I can answer that question. Whenever a Telum breaks, its user starts to disappear. That's why you gotta take care of your Telum in a battle.
Lykos: Oh, but like...why?
Volk threw his shield at Okami, he knocked it back with his scythe.
Fidi: Your Telum is a part of you. If that breaks then so will you.
Lykos: That makes more sense.
Lykos jumped up and threw his axe at Fidi, he blocked it with the spear.
Fidi: Just make sure that never happens to you, there won't be an afterlife for you.
Lykos: And how do you know this?
Fidi: ...I have my sources...
Okami: Those being?
Fidi: I've met some afterlife gods...Hel included.
Volk: You serious? How?
Fidi: Once again, Accalia was built different.
Sobaka walked outside with an orb in his hand.
Sobaka: Yo, anyone gonna use this? Thor dropped it yesterday and I forgot to ask.
Lykos, Okami, Volk, and Fidi looked at each other, the four said no.
Sobaka: Alright then, I'll use it if you all don't mind.
He used it immediately after, electricity shot from his hand and hit Volk.
Sobaka: Why did I expect it to be anything else?
Volk let out smoke from his mouth.
Volk: You're lucky that hit me you cunt.
Sobaka: It's not my fault it just burst out.
Lykos: Can we have a break? We're already talking so might as well sit down with the rest of the group.
Fidi: Sure.
The five of them sat down outside and started talking, eventually Skylos, Alepou, and Kitsune joined them.
Skylos: Hey V, you've never talked about how growing up in Russia was like. Anything in particular happened?
Sobaka: I could answer that question too you know.
Skylos: Well sure, let's hear both your sides of the story.
Sobaka: Bet, who goes first?
Volk and Sobaka played rock, paper, scissors to see who would start, Volk won 2-0.
Sobaka: Hold on, did you use your future seeing power to win?
Volk: Why would I use it for this?
Sobaka: Cause you're like that.
Volk: Fuck off.
Sobaka: I'm not wrong.
Volk brushed off the comment and started to talk about his youth. He talked about living with a family of 3, he said that the family had taken him in since his parents had disappeared. He talked about a girl named Caia who was almost like a sister to him, he also mentioned her parents took care of him as if he was their own son.
One day, some Telum users broke into their house and killed Caia's parents, that day, Volk awakened his Telum to stop them both. He mentioned that he was only able to do it because of the rage he felt that day since he was still new to using his Telum. Okami asked "How old were you when this happened?" to which Volk replied, "I was 10 at the time.". He talked about having to live in a shelter because of what had happened that day. After that, he said that he was separated from Caia because they had found out about his Telum.
They enrolled him in a military academy from a young age, that's when he met Sobaka who was enrolled there at a young age as well. Alepou asked "What happened to Caia after?" to which Volk responded "I never heard anything else from her. They wouldn't let me call or send her a message." He started talking about life in the academy, he said that it was all fine until he couldn't handle being there anymore.
He had gotten tired of the place and was wishing for a normal life, he decided to run away. Sobaka said, "The motherfucker actually pulled it off well too." Volk started talking about a girl he had met the day he ran away, she described her as the best thing that would happen to him. Her name was Lisa, she and him would talk to each other once in a while since Volk was in hiding. Turns out that she was the daughter of the Czar.
Volk: I never really understood how she saw anything in me.
Sobaka: And to think you did all that whilst hiding from me.
Volk: The signs were there, you were just too blind to see them.
Sobaka: My bad I was too busy guarding the daughter of the motherfucking Czar.
Fidi: You were part of the Russian Royal Guard?
Sobaka: Yep.
Fidi: How old even are you?
Sobaka: How old do you think I am?
Fidi: Umm, 23?
Sobaka: So close, it's actually 22.
Fidi: Man, in my 20s I was still trying to find a suitable job.
Sobaka: Those are the perks of being in that academy.
Fidi: From Volk's perspective I don't think there's a perk to being dragged in there.
Sobaka: OH, don't get me wrong, that place sucks ass. It's just that there are some benefits to it...depending on how you entered the place.
Lykos: I don't think being taken away from your only family by force and having to be there without wanting to can have a benefit.
Alepou: That sounds awful.
Volk: Eh...it is what it is at this point. I can't go back on what happened. Go ahead Sobaka, it's your turn.
Lykos: Actually I'll be back real quick, you can start without me.
Lykos stood up and went inside the house to grab some water, Kitsune followed him into the house. When Lykos was drinking water, Kitsune grabbed his hoodie. He looked back thinking it was Alepou.
Lykos: What's up hone- Oh shit, my bad. What's up Kit?
Kitsune: I need an answer from you, ever since you talked about Argos I wanted to tell you something.
Lykos: Huh? Don't tell me his comment about you is bothering you right now?
Kitsune: What commen...NO, It's not about that.
Lykos: Alright then, what's up?
Kitsune: Okami knows, but I want to tell you just in case anything happens. There's also another me...well was.
Lykos put the cup of water on the table.
Lykos: Was?
Kitsune: She's been gone for a while I think...I haven't heard from her in ages.
Lykos: Did you do something?
Kitsune: I don't remember that quite well. I never looked into it too much because I was afraid.
Lykos: Well, I don't think you can just erase that part of you.
Kitsune: I guess? I'm telling you because I don't know about this and I don't want another one to appear one day.
Lykos: If everything goes well in life then you shouldn't worry about another one appearing. I'm sure everything will be fine.
Kitsune: I hope so...don't tell anyone else, please Ly.
Lykos: I won't, also, Argos didn't hear anything so no need to worry about him.
Kitsune: Thank you, if anything happens then I'll come to ask you.
Lykos: Haha, I don't know too much about it myself, but I'll try to help how I can, so you can tell me anything, I'm always here for a friend.
Kitsune: Haha, alright then. Let's head back out before Okami gets jealous.
The two walked outside and joined the rest of the group as Sobaka was talking about his life.
