Isabella's POV:

I am currently getting ready for some party organized by Dy's boss. Dy, Ty, and his boss are good friends, but I've never met him before.

Iris is currently curling the edges of my hair.

Iris was wearing a Burgundy colored off shoulder bodycon dress.

While I was wearing a simple blue bodycon dress with my diamond stud to go with it.

"Hey ladies, are you ready?" It was from Tyler.

"Hey Ty, let's go," I replied.

"Um..sis...you go down, we'll be there in a minute."

I chuckled and walked out of my room.

"Wow" I whispered as I looked at the beautifully decorated place. It was simple but elegant. The place was decorated with real blue roses. OMG! I've never seen a real blue rose before. The blue roses were tied with a single white rose which made the place look absolutely beautiful.

"Hey, dudes...." A familiar voice broke me out of my reverie.

"Hi Raf, meet my girlfriend Iris Shelley and this is my sister Isabella."

"Hello, ladies." He acted as if he is meeting us for the first time. That bas- ugh!! Isa control your tongue.

We never bothered to reply.

That's my Iris. We have a lot of things in common.

After a while, we were having snacks and drinks. The three guys never shut their mouths. Sadly Amanda decided to be a part of their conversation.

Iris and I were having a glaring contest for no specific reason.

"Isabella" was none other than the devil.

"Wha-um- yes Mr. Knight"

"Please call me Rafael and will you dance with me?"

Minutes later I found myself dancing with him.

"Hi, Bella." He said cheerfully.

"Its Isabella."

"Sorry, I love calling you Bella. It suits you!" He exclaimed.

He tightened his grip on my waist and pulled me closer.

My heart started beating faster.

His gaze fell on my lips as he leaned in.

I was able to feel the goosebumps on my skin.

I was able to feel his breath, minty, and fresh.

Why is my heart in a rush?

Our lips were inches apart, ready to meet.

The floor did not touch my feet.

His lips were ready to meet mine

That's when......

"If you dare kiss me, then I will shove my heel in your butt."

Hehe...I have my perfect timings.

He cleared his throat and flashed a sickly sweet smile.

"Come with me."

"What?"

"Do you trust me?"

"What did you say?" Did he just quote Aladdin?

"Do you trust me?"

"Are you a fan of Disney?"

"Ugh!!! You're supposed to say yes" he said while he pulled me somewhere.

It was a balcony.

Dramatic much.

"So where is the magic carpet?"

"Shut the hell up Bella" he replied.

"Don't call me that."

"Okay... BELLA" he said while emphasizing the name Bella.

"So why did you bring me here."

His eyes traveled down my body.

"What?" I asked while attempting to cover my body.

He chuckled and answered

"Relax! I just wanted to give this back to you"

THE BLUE PENDANT...

Should I get it back..... Or not?.....

Boom!!

gunshot brought me out of my reverie.

Ban g!!

I guess thinks are being thrown around.

Even before I could comprehend things, some men dressed in black surrounded us with guns.

Rafael walked closer to me...

Placed is hands on my waist.

He tightened his grip on my waist and pulled me closer.

My heart started beating faster.

His gaze fell on my lips as he leaned in.

I was able to feel the goosebumps on my skin.

I was able to feel his breath, minty, and fresh.

Why is my heart in a rush?

Our lips were inches apart, ready to meet.

The floor did not touch my feet.

His lips were ready to meet mine.

I pressed my lips into a thin line.

His hands covered my eyes completely.

I felt like he was trying to block out the world entirely.

And suddenly the world stopped when his lips

were already against mine........

The kiss felt like a fantasy, that I did not bother

to notice a few gunshots , and finally he broke

away gasping for air and said

"Everything is fine."

He quickly put the pendant around my neck and smiled at me.

His action was contagious...

and it obviously caused my smile.
