With the fight against the Jem'Hadar soldiers over, Jeremy took a deep breath, surveying the relieved but weary group around him. "We’ve defeated this batch in battle," he announced, offering a hand to help everyone back toward the castle.
As they regrouped, Jeremy's eyes drifted over his belt of Pokéballs—two of them seemed lighter than they should have been. He stopped in his tracks, his brow furrowing.
“Wait… two of these Pokéballs are empty. Where are Togekiss and Shiinotic?”
Twilight turned to him, curious. “What do you mean?”
Jeremy held up the empty Pokéballs. “It looks like they’ve been out and about. Togekiss and Shiinotic aren’t here.”
Just then, Togekiss and Shiinotic strolled in, looking perfectly at ease. Shiinotic was cradling an egg carefully in his arms.
Jeremy sighed in relief, crouching down to greet them. “Oh, there you two are! I thought we might have left you behind in Appleloosa. Listen, you can’t just wander off without letting me know, alright? You had me worried.”
Shiinotic nodded understandingly and patted Jeremy’s leg in reassurance, while Togekiss shot him a glance, eyes narrowing as if to say, “Don’t you dare drop my egg.”
Jeremy held out his hands with a gentle smile. “Alright, I’ll take care of the egg. You two deserve a rest.”
Shiinotic carefully handed it over, and the trio headed back to the castle together, safe and reunited.
Jeremy explained, “Shiinotic over here is both a Fairy and Grass type, while Togekiss is Fairy and Flying. Since Togekiss is female, the baby Pokémon that hatches from her egg will be a Togepi. Togepi tend to stay in their egg shell until they’re ready to evolve into Togetic.”
He pointed to Shiinotic. “Now, Shiinotic here evolves from Morelull and has this natural bioluminescent glow, as you can see. But, a fair warning—maybe skip the Pokédex entry if you’re faint-hearted.”
“Why?” Celestia asked, her curiosity piqued.
Jeremy hesitated. “Let’s just say, before I found him, Shiinotic had drained the life force of a certain Team Rocket grunt who had... harmed his mate. He’s been loyal ever since.”
Applejack looked at Shiinotic with surprise. “You mean that little guy drained the life energy out of a bad man?”
Jeremy nodded. “Well, yeah. If someone killed or hurt the one you love, wouldn’t you go to any lengths to protect them? If anyone tried to hurt Rose, they’d regret it.”
Rose chimed in, “Same here—if anyone came for Jay, I’d make them pay.”
Princess Luna nodded thoughtfully. “So, Shiinotic actually drained the life essence of someone who hurt his mate? I... can understand that.”
Jeremy added, “Shiinotic and I have an understanding. It’s kind of like a line from a movie I once watched: ‘There are very good people in this universe, very, very good people.’ Shiinotic only takes action against those with evil intentions. All my Pokémon who have such abilities have agreed to only use them in defense of others."

Jeremy continued, “There are some Pokémon I only bring out in extreme situations. Take Annihilape, for example. He’s a Ghost and Fighting type, but he wasn’t always that way. He actually evolved from Primeape, who can get so angry that the stress can overwhelm him. When that happens, he transcends his former self and becomes a Ghost Pokémon, which is how Annihilape is born.”
He looked around, emphasizing the point. “It’s rare, and I don’t use him lightly. But when I do, you know things are serious.”
Jeremy sighed, "I’d love to spend more time with Annihilape, but he’s just… too intense. If he’s upset, he’d tear through Canterlot, punching anyone in his way until he calms down.”
Rarity looked surprised. "So he’s powerful but… volatile? That sounds dangerous.”
Jeremy nodded. "It is. I’ve thought about trading him, but he’s saved me so many times. I feel like I owe him.”
Pinkie Pie jumped in, "Oh, I get it! You’ve got a bond with him.”
"Exactly," Jeremy replied. "I watched him push himself so hard in battle that he collapsed, and then he evolved into Annihilape—stronger, but fiercer. That day, he sent his opponent’s trainer straight to the Pokémon Center."
Rainbow Dash’s eyes widened. "Whoa!"
Jeremy continued, "And he’s not the only intense one. There’s Dusknoir, who can curse people and Pokémon alike. And Darkrai—he doesn’t attack with force, but he gives enemies nightmares. He’s actually calm, just… dark."
Fluttershy looked worried. "Nightmares?"
"Yeah," Jeremy replied. "And then there’s Gengar, who actually eats dreams. So does Musharna, but she can’t handle bad dreams or she’ll get a stomachache. And, of course, Cinderace—he’s a bit more straightforward; he kicks flaming soccer balls."
Rainbow’s face lit up. "Now that sounds awesome!"
Jeremy laughed. "Well, tomorrow, if you’re interested, I can give you a crash course on Pokémon and explain the bracelets on my wrists, the chain, and the gem I carry."
Celestia raised an eyebrow. "That gem is special?”
Jeremy held up the orb. "Yes, it’s the Tera Orb. It allows me to terastallize my Pokémon, making them even stronger."
Jeremy looked at his Tera Orb thoughtfully. "I don’t use it often—it’s not as powerful as Mega Evolution, Z-Moves, or even Dynamaxing."
Rainbow Dash perked up. "Dynamaxing? What’s that?"
Jeremy chuckled. "I was saving it for tomorrow’s lesson, but I just spotted some Vorta that need a serious scare." He called out his Gengar, who materialized with a wicked grin.
Jeremy grinned back. "Gengar, you ready to give these Vorta a lesson they’ll never forget?"
Gengar let out an eerie laugh, and Celestia's eyes widened in curiosity. "Gigantamax? What’s that?"
"Watch this," Jeremy replied. "Gengar here can do more than Dynamax—he can Gigantamax." Luna’s eyes gleamed. "If only I'd had a creature like that when I was Nightmare Moon. Imagine the fear he'd cause in the Gem Hadar!"
Jeremy nodded, tightening his Max Band and glancing at the approaching Vorta. "They say Gigantamax Gengar can open his mouth wide enough to make people hear voices of their lost relatives calling out to them."
As the Vorta closed in, Jeremy held up his Max Band. "You really don’t want to know our answer to your surrender demand. It’s not the answer you’re hoping for."
With that, Jeremy called Gengar back, then tossed his Poké Ball forward. It expanded into a massive, glowing sphere, releasing a Gigantamax Gengar whose shadow loomed over the battlefield.

As the dust settled, Gengar shrank back to his normal size, a mischievous grin still plastered on his face. Jeremy returned him to his Pokéball with a nod of approval. “Nice job, buddy.”
The silence was broken by Rainbow Dash, who was staring, slack-jawed. “Did…did Gengar just eat those guys? Like, just slurped ‘em up like they were hay fries?”
Applejack shook her head, looking a bit pale. “I’ve seen a lot of things on the farm, but nothin’ quite like that. Remind me not to get on that fella’s bad side.”
Rarity, always one for the dramatic, put a hoof to her forehead. “Well, I daresay that was the most chilling display of power I’ve ever witnessed. Such eerie finesse—so dreadfully ghastly.”
Fluttershy, hiding half-behind her mane, gave a little squeak. “It was…um…effective. But, Jeremy, does Gengar always, you know, use his…tongue…to handle things?”
Twilight Sparkle looked at Jeremy with a mixture of awe and concern. “I knew Pokémon could be powerful, but that was…incredible. Still, maybe next time we could try something that doesn’t involve…well, eating the enemy?”
Spike, who had been hiding behind Twilight, finally piped up, his eyes wide with excitement. “That was awesome! Can you imagine if I could do something like that with my fire? Just…poof, they’re gone!”
Zack, always a bit of a thrill-seeker, was grinning from ear to ear. “Man, that was epic! Gengar’s got some serious style. I need to see that again sometime!”
Rose, however, gave Jeremy a gentle nudge, her face showing a blend of admiration and a hint of caution. “Hey, that was impressive, but don’t make a habit of giving us heart attacks, okay? There’s a line between protecting everyone and going…a little too far.”
Luna, observing from beside Celestia, chuckled with approval. “I must admit, Jeremy, that was a formidable display of strength. In my days as Nightmare Moon, I would have welcomed such an ally.”
Celestia looked at the scene, still processing. “Well, it seems we’ve won this battle—unconventionally, but decisively. But perhaps next time, we’ll keep the…dining…to a minimum?”
Jeremy chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. “Yeah, I’ll keep that in mind. Gengar’s got his, uh, own way of handling things.”
engar came back out, belched, then bowed with a flourish. Jeremy teased, "Get back in that Pokéball, you ham."
Picard and Riker, who had come from the castle, exclaimed, "What the hell was that? We could see it from the Enterprise! Gengar was as big as the castle!"
Celestia asked, "As big... as the castle, you say?"
Jeremy chuckled, "Oh, wait until the Gem Hadar comes back, and I put Palossand next to the castle."
Twilight raised an eyebrow, "Palossand? Another Ghost-type? Like Shedinja, he sucks energy from others, but only those trapped inside him. And G-Max Palossand doesn't 'dine' on them; he slowly drains their life essence and uses their bones as projectiles."
Zack grinned, "Remember when we were on Chronos, and Jeremy pissed off 50 Klingon soldiers from a corrupt family and Gigantimaxed Palossand?"
Rose shuddered, "Yeah, four hours into the fight, those who'd walked into Palossand, thinking it was Jeremy's base, looked like mummies before he took their last bit of energy. Gross, but funny. Even Martok laughed."13Please respect copyright.PENANAvKk1fuRtOb
Jeremy grinned, “You know, I actually have some other friends who could help out—and they won’t, uh, dine on the enemy, but their methods… might be intense.”
Rose smirked, catching his drift. “Oh, you’re talking about them, aren’t you?”
“Exactly,” Jeremy nodded, clearly amused. “How would you describe the Third Street Saints and Johnny Gat, Rose?”
Rose laughed her expression a mix of admiration and wariness. “Well, let’s just say, they’d do to the Jem'Hadar exactly what they did to the Zin Empire… and Zinyak.”
The group exchanged glances, some looking intrigued, others a little apprehensive. Spike raised an eyebrow. “So… these Saints don’t mess around, huh?”
“Not at all,” Rose replied with a grin. “If they’re around, let’s just say the Jem'Hadar would wish they’d stayed home.”
Discord clapped his hands with a mischievous sparkle in his eyes. “Oh, now this sounds like it’ll be a party!”13Please respect copyright.PENANAMKTXrnM7Jv
