Chapter two
Boomy came through the door, looking for Dori.
‘Dori?’ he called.
‘Boomy? Where have you been?’ he heard.
‘We were almost out of steel, so i went by the city! Although there wasn’t any, so I’m gonna make a trip to Cusa, because i heard they have an even better better metal!’

Dori now walked to him, ‘Really? Want me to come with you?’
‘Hmm, i would love that, but i don’t think it’s a good idea to leave the house unprotected, after all, i know how to make weapons, but you can use them.’
Dori sighed. ‘Okay, i guess you’re right. How long is the journey?’
‘To Cusa and back’ Boomy told her ‘so I’m thinking maybe a few days.’

Dori got a little nervous ‘Oh, well, At least take someone with you, just for company.’
‘I really don-’ Boomy tried.
‘Oh! I know, there is this one really friendly guy who could use an adventure, i always see him in the taverns. What was his name?’
she thought for a second, then said: ‘Ah, i remember now, it was Fau, just go to the tavern and bring him along!’
Boomy sighed. ‘Alright, alright, I’ll bring him along.’
‘Good, enjoy your journey! I’ll see you in a few days!’
‘Yeah, I’ll see you later!’

Boomy rode his horse with wagon to the nearest tavern, when he saw the same mysterious person wearing the wooden antler-mask standing on the road.
He stopped his horse, and started asking: ‘Who are you? why did you steal my steel?’
The character stared at him.
Now Boomy wanted to yell, but contained his anger, ‘Okay, i won’t fight you, but can you at least answer my question? Why did you steal from me?’
The character now spoke in a deep voice, which almost seemed timeless.
‘Be aware of your pasts.’

Now the character disappeared into the dirt road.
Now Boomy got angry, and he kept that angry vibe until he reached the tavern.
When he opened the door he immediately got overwhelmed by the bad smell and the noise.

When the barista saw Boomy, she called to him, ‘Yo Townsend! The usual?’
Boomy walked towards the bar, then said: ‘No, I’m just looking for someone. I believe his name was Fau.’
‘Ah’ she said, ‘He is sitting right next to you!’
Then Boomy heard a very drunk voice: ‘HellooO.’
‘Ah’ Boomy said, ‘Well, Dori told me to take you on a bit of a journey.’
‘DoOri? I’ve heard that name before.’ he told Boomy
Boomy sighed. he thought ‘Well, at least I’ll get some entertainment on the road’

‘Ah, now i remember’ Fau said, suppressing a laugh, ‘she was the one joking about me having a job!’
Everyone started laughing.
‘Oh well, guess you ain’t coming with me to Cusa.’
Now Fau was interested: ‘Cusa? I heard they have the best beer there! I’m coming with you for sure!’
‘Alright, pack your bags, because we’re going to Cusa!’ Boomy said

A few hours later Boomy and Fau were sitting on the cart that was being pulled along by the horse.
Fau was getting a little bit sober, and getting a bit sleepy thanks to it.
‘So, I’m not really just a drunk guy y’know?’ He said all of a sudden.
‘Really?’ Boomy said, ‘I have only seen you as one, and i don’t think i am alone in that.’
‘Yeah, it’s just that i got fired from my job as a bartender’ Fau said ‘which made me depressed and quit singing and playing my lute, which led to me being even more depressed and drinking my life away.’

‘Damn, pretty depressing’ Boomy joked.
Fau sighed.
‘Yup.’
Now Boomy was kinda interested, ‘Why’d you get fired though?’
‘I was working at a high class tavern’ He said ‘and someone poisoned a drink under my watch.’
‘Oh, well maybe you can get back to playing the lute.’ Boomy suggested
Fau got even more depressed, ‘Sold it, not even for that much.’
‘Well, y’know what, once i sold a few weapons to the king, I’ll buy you one.’
Fau was surprised: ‘Really? There is no snag right?’
