Everyone has a way of seeing things. Every person has a way of looking at the hardships and the happiness around them. A person sees another's personality like no one else does. It’s something unique. It is something precious that only belongs to humanity.
I see the world in colors. That may sound strange since everyone sees color. However, I like to define the things around me and the people in my life by colors. Today I’d like to share with you how it works.
Primary and secondary colors such as blue, red, yellow, and green are my surroundings. They’re the things I see in everyday life. The things I’ve gotten used to. There are stores, food, clothing, just the normal things. It’s what most people see when they wake up each morning. It’s average.
The first category that comes to mind is black. Black are the people I consider enemies. They dislike me and I return the sentiment. I wish there was less black then there really is, but isn’t life always like that? There are usually more people you hate than more people you love. Sometimes, though, it’s from the enemies that you learn what not to become.
Then there’s white. White are the people I love and trust. These things include my family, my closest friends, and the things that make my life happy. I don’t know what my life would be like if there wasn’t the white. I depend on it almost too much. The white is few. White is like splotches in a large area of black.
The last color is gray. Gray is the color that scares me the most. They are the people you don’t know if you can trust. You don’t really know if they love you or if they hate you. It’s terrifying. Black and white are safe because they’re defined. Gray can’t be given a label or, by the time it can, the damage has already been done. Maybe they’re something you don’t even need to worry about. It’s just the dangerous unknown. The grays in my life are small, like the white, but they’re still there. It’s like when you make a little mistake on a painting. It’s a small mistake, but it’s still there. It can drive you insane if you think about it too much. The only difference is that in real life you can’t fix the gray. They can only fix themselves if they need to.
So, that in some ways is how i see life. I’m curious to see what you guys think, leave your thoughts in the comments. I’d love to hear it.
