Wakeful she lay when low was the sun

Thinking of her debts and getting food on her table

Listing them out in her mind one by one

'But how will thou be able

When you are small and feable'.

Amidst her thought she heard a loud shout

'Something is wrong beyond no doubt'.

She hurriedly left her bed

And with her tiny legs she fled,

In Aghast she saw a large crowd

Their arguments was really loud,

"What could cause this noise ?"

Then suddenly she heard a voice.

" This old woman lost her treasures

A box that contains valuable things

And we shall get it using different measures

No matter how hard it seems.

Every home would be searched

Because everyone is a suspect

This would be done thoroughly and not flashed

It might be were we least expect,

And wherever this is found

The culprit would be banned ".

Mary knew she was free

" This won't be definitely me

I know am weak and got a lot of bill

But at least I don't steal ".
