The sun rose from it's sleep to show a new day

And the people are anxious of what the chief has to say.

The chief addressed " the witch is gone

We couldn't sacrifice her to the woods and that is no fun,

Because she is cursed and has brought ill to this town

Her death would have cleansed us but her escape will bring us down."

The lady shouted " but you would have left her to her fate ?"

The chief replied " not even a beast would survive at a time so late,

I certainly knew she would die

But now she is gone " the chief ends with a sigh.

Mary jumped from her sleep when she felt and ant stung

She screamed " where have I to you also wrong"

She turned around her and saw nothing but trees

" my lord from you I wish for ease."

She walked around the lonely woods

In disappointment she say " these trees are empty of fruits ".

She freezed when she felt a touch

The unknown said " if you turn you get a punch ".

" Am just a stranded girl please "

" hold your words or your life I'll seize ",

The unknown continued " your features are rare

What name does your father bear? "

" Long it is when I lost my home

My parents are to me unknown".

" Your words are woeful

But I doubt if you are truthful ",

" Why would a girl find happiness in a lonely place

If she is not going through a difficult case."

The unknown thought and said " make a turn I want to see your face "

As mary turns she says " don't hurt me I entreat "

" No movements stand at that very place

You can only speak or move when I permit ".

The unknown gazed at her for long

And asked " how did you end up here "

Mary replied " I lived in a place where I was rebuked and wronged

Alas I was no longer wanted there ".

" very sad story you tell

And we can't wait here bad things might befell "

" but I don't know you ?"

The unknown replies " that is very true,

I am parees and old priest

My dear too many odds lies within

So follow me and save your self atleast

Don't get yourself killed for another sin ."
