Hannes took me home and after we said goodbye, I started getting ready for tomorrow night. I got out my gray camo pants, ones just like the guys wore. I also put on some Sabaton. After I was ready, I excitedly texted my best friend.
No way! You're so lucky. I wish someone from my favorite band saved my life and invited me as a VIP to their concert, she responded.
Haha, maybe someday. If not, maybe someday you can meet Sabaton. All of them are super cool and fun to hang out with.
After talking with my friend for a bit, I fell asleep still listening to Sabaton.
I woke up the next morning and got ready. I put on a simple black shirt with my gray camo pants. Then I grabbed my black leather vest and put on my black, fingerless gloves with silver studs and a silver chain on each one. I slipped on my black vans and put on my black eagle necklace.
A few minutes after I had finished getting ready, Hannes texted me that they were on their way. I smiled and in about thirty minutes they were here. I grabbed my bag and excitedly ran downstairs.
"Hey, Sophia. You look like you're ready to go," Hannes chuckled lightly.
I smiled and nodded. He smiled back and led me inside the tour bus. They had a coffee percolator, a very small table with a few bus-style seats around it, a tv, and very small single bunk beds along the side upstairs. I sat at the table with Hannes and the ride to the stadium where they were going to play began. It took about forty-five minutes to get there, but it went by super fast because the guys and I were just hanging out. I helped Hannes learn more ASL, and I discovered he was a pretty quick learner.
When we got to the stadium, I insisted on helping them unload their gear and set up. As I helped them, I had one earbud in, listening to their music.
"Whatcha listening to, Sophia?" Hannes asked after we'd gotten most of the big stuff done. I smiled and handed him the other earbud. He put it in and laughed.
"Swedish Pagans? Is that one your favorite?" he asked with a small smile.
“ One of them,” I signed. Hannes smiled more.
"You know, that's Joakim's least favorite song."
I smiled and nodded. I then switched to my favorite song.
“ This one is my top favorite.”
"Shiroyama?" Hannes asked.
I nodded with a huge smile on my face.
"Alright, good to know," he said and I looked at him curiously.
"Don't worry about it. Now, how about we go grab a quick bite before rehearsal while the others finish up?" he suggested and I nodded.
We walked to a nearby cafe and Hannes insisted on getting me some food.
"We really appreciate all your help," Hannes smiled as we walked back after we had finished eating.
You're welcome, I don't mind. It's the least I can do for everything you guys have done for me already, I wrote out in my notebook instead of signing because I wanted him to understand all of what I wanted to say.
“We don't mind. I'm really glad now that I was the one who was asked to run to the gas station and pick up some stuff that night we met," he chuckled lightly and I smiled.
“You're an amazing person, Sophia. I'm sure this is true for the others too, but I really enjoy hanging out with you," he added.
“ Thank you, Hannes,” I signed before giving him a hug. After a moment, he hugged me back.
