I had been dreading this moment since as long as I could remember. Everything remained quiet and still until there was a knock on the door. Branches brushed passed the brick walls of the house as the wind eerily started to blow. At least that was what I thought it was as I could barely see a thing through the windows in pitch darkness. I leaned over to grab anything I could protect myself with that's within my reach, and unwillingly made my way towards the door. The knocking on the door intensified. Who, or what, could that be?
