The sun shines through the old yellowish curtain. A dim glow of light seeps through the dark, awakening the city. Birds chirp and eagles are soaring in the blue sky. It is a good day.
I wake up at a sudden, realising that it is yet six in the morning. An hour earlier than usual. I crawl up from my bed and slowly reached for my undone pile of assignments. Probably I should have made better use of my time, I sighed.
Picking up my pen, I decide to work on my composition that was due two weeks ago. Unwillingly I was brainstorming for ideas when something distrubed me.
A faint knock on the door.
Strange. My parents are out of town these days and my brother just went to his friend's place for sleepover. Who would that be?
And here it is again. The knock.
Shivering with fear, beads of sweat rolling down my back, I hesitated and slowly walked to the door. I took a deeap breath, and asked in a trembling voice, "Yes?" 472Please respect copyright.PENANAcTroPmJ9hG
Nobody answered. The haunting silence is intimidating.
Gradually I opened the door. 472Please respect copyright.PENANAOtHbNEYI1U
And there it is, my black little cat at the door. "Meow."472Please respect copyright.PENANAAjh6zVHMep
I sighed with relief. I just forgot her breakfast.472Please respect copyright.PENANAEaZCmAb6LP
Putting down my pen, I smiled and walked out the room.
