While conducting the various interviews I learned of a friend of the Cassidy's who had worked for them on an "as-needed" basis.
Suella Braverman stands at an average height, around 5 feet 6 inches tall, with chestnut brown hair that falls in gentle waves past her shoulders. She has two daughters named Amelia and Sophia, both of whom are her pride and joy. Suella resides in the tranquil suburbs of Clear Lake, about a 30-minute drive from the Lone Star Honky-Tonk resort. Her full-time job is as a paralegal at a prominent law firm in downtown Houston, where she meticulously handles legal documents and assists lawyers with case preparations.
Though Suella has always harbored an eerie suspicion about the Lone Star Honky-Tonk, she never voiced her concerns until she had a chilling encounter with an apparition. Over the years, she brushed off her feelings as mere superstition, attributing the eerie ambiance of the honky-tonk to its age and history. However, one fateful evening, as she was leaving the resort after enjoying a night of live music, she came face-to-face with a ghostly figure that sent shivers down her spine. This encounter shattered her skepticism, prompting her to confront the unsettling truth lurking within the honky-tonk's walls.208Please respect copyright.PENANA7Mw4Mz2yLt

Mabel had called in sick, so Suella had volunteered to help out at the bar for the evening. She had been a friend with Wilma and Buck even before the Cassidys had bought the old Lone Star High School site. She and her husband, Thomas, often frequented the country music clubs where Buck was performing before the opening of his place.
Wilma had asked Suella to wait the tables in the front ballroom, directly in front of the dance floor. As she walked between the rows of tables, checking her station before the ballroom was opened to the guests, she heard someone whisper her name. The soft voice came from the stage. She turned to her right and found herself staring at the form of a woman wearing a '60s-style blouse and mini-skirt. The apparition had long brown hair done up in a bouffant and was standing in the arched doorway at the right of the platform.
"Come along with me, won't you?" the disembodied spirit pleaded. "I implore you, if you please!"
Suella stared at the woman, and, as she did, the specter turned and disappeared into the back room. Suella felt something drawing her, almost hypnotizing her thoughts, and, without realizing it, she made her way up onto the stage and walked into the dimly lit backstage area.
She reached the hatchway to the tunnels, situated discreetly backstage, and looked everywhere for the ghostly woman, but she was nowhere to be found. As she stood motionless, staring at the weathered, wooden hatch, something icy cold pierced her back and exited through her chest. Even though she didn't see anything, she knew a spirit had passed through her body and then through the door in front of her. It was trying to lure her down to the tunnels.
"Come along with me, won't you?" the whisper assaulted her ears again, only this time coming from the closed hatch.
As Suella reached out to grasp the weathered handle of the hatch, a sense of anticipation mingled with trepidation in her heart. Her fingers brushed against the rough surface, ready to unveil the mysteries hidden beneath. Yet, before she could exert any pressure, a gentle tapping sensation danced upon her shoulder, halting her movements with a sudden jolt. She turned around only to find nobody there. She realized where she was and something inside her told her to run, to get out of the room and do it now.
Suella moved through the arched doorway, quickly walking back to the ballroom to find Wilma. She wanted to tell her what had just happened, but as she made it to her assigned area, the guests came rushing in.
I'll tell her later, Suella thought as the tables before her quickly filled with rowdy cowboys, demanding to be served.
Suella nervously took an order from four men, all of whom were wearing black dusters and Stetson hats. She headed for the bar to get the beer and shots of Jack Daniels they had requested when something caught her attention again. She found herself staring through the crowd at the large mirror on the back wall. What she saw frightened her out of her wits.
The apparition Suella beheld in the mirror bore the ghastly visage of a woman, her features contorted in agony and horror. Her once beautiful face was now marred by deep gashes and lacerations, rendering her unrecognizable save for the haunting desperation in her eyes. Blood trickled down her pallid skin, pooling at her feet in a gruesome testament to the violence inflicted upon her. She could see it coming closer and closer. She wheeled around to her right; flashing her eyes through the people who filled the room. The butchered woman was nowhere to be found. As Suella stood there, staring through the room, she suddenly smelled blood in the air all around her
"That's it!" She groaned, not caring if anyone heard her remark. "I command you, in the name of Jesus Christ, to be gone!" Just as quickly as Suella's words faded away into the roar of the crowd, the blood aroma evaporated into nothingness, and everything returned to normal.
Suella wanted to leave the building, but she knew Wilma and Buck were short-handed tonight, so she decided to stick it out until closing time. The woman shrugged her shoulders and then got busy serving drinks to the customers. She made up her mind to get Wilma alone after all the guests went back to their rooms. She was going to give the Cassidys some startling news: they owned a haunted resort!208Please respect copyright.PENANA6g6AkNnDMz
