“You ok sweetie?” The motherly figure slowly breezed through her son’s blonde hair, a lonely child curled up in a ball on his soft comfortable bed. “Did the kids beat you up again?”
“Yeah.” The small Kyle responded. “Why are they always so mean? What did I ever do to them?”
“I don’t know sweetheart, I thought the teachers would do something about it. I’ll call the school, don’t worry. It’ll all be over soon.”
She got up from the mattress and headed over to the bedroom door.
“Mom?” His soft voice spoke up.
“What is it?”
“Will I ever make any friends?”
She paused but finally conjured up the words. “I’m sure you’ll make the greatest of friends, no matter how long it will take to find them. You will.”

Kyle’s eyes opened and bubbles cloud around his face. His body had the feeling of floating in a huge pool of water. Once the blobs dissipated he was able to see more clearly, a light green absorbent light engulfed his vision, making him squint his eyes.
“Where the fuck am I?” When he spoke he felt liquid rushing down his throat and immediately gagged, almost throwing up at the taste. He threw his arms around and cuffed his hands over his mouth. Kicking his legs he was able to float himself up before hitting the top of whatever he was in.
He started to severely panic, still not being able to see anything in the slightest. He rotated his body and kicked in front of him before he felt the cold glass encasing him. A loose bit of cables drifted and graced his nude body. He swam in front of him before he planted on the glass, pressing his face up against it he was finally able to see the outside.
A cylinder tube that was big enough to harbor a body, almost looking like a huge septic tank. Leading up to it were a huge line of interconnected cords that were plugged in at the bottom of it. He quickly connected the pieces in his head, this is the place where most likely this mad man does his experiments.
Kyle winded back his legs and proceeded to kick as hard as he could. He bounced off of it, making him drift back into the other pane of glass. It was clear that breaking it with sheer force alone wasn’t going to work. He needed to do something else.
He placed his feet and bent his knees, getting ready to propel himself. He launched and bashed his head into the pane. He was not even able to tip the tank even a little bit. He now had to give up on that idea as well.
Running out of options he quickly thought up another idea. He grabbed on to the loose wire and tugged on it, trying to find out where it connected to. He traced the cable all the way to the top of the tank, where a grate prevented him from going any further.
He pushed on it, hoping it would at least lift it up a little. It only shifted to the left and right before getting put right back in place. He tugged harder on the cord again, hoping to break it but since he was floating in liquid, he couldn’t get much force behind it.
Dammit! Kyle was saying to himself. He traced back the cord to the plug that was at the end of it, having a rather sharp end. He swam over to the glass, lunged his arm back with the wire wrapped around his wrist, and drove the spigot into the glass, making it crack.
Fluid started leaking out and the tube started draining. He unstuck the plug and plunged it again into the glass, finally fully breaking it. The whole tank flooded out, taking Kyle along with it. He plated onto the wet floor and the crunch of glass beneath him as he tumbled around and landed on his back facing the ceiling.
He took slow breaths as he slowly lifted himself off the ground. He looked all around him and saw the same exact tubes he was stuck in surrounding him. He couldn’t even take one step forward without his bare feet touching a single line of cable. He feels a sudden chill throughout his body that makes him shudder.
He looks up at the tube that was right across from him and sees Greg, floating in the capsule completely nude like he was. But he had a cable that was connected into his stomach, the same one in his.
Kyle ran up and banged on the glass. “Greg!” He called out. “Wake up!” He turned behind him and grabbed the cable he used and rushed over to Greg. The cable was pulled to its extent and couldn’t go any further, it was only mere inches away from the tube. He grabbed the plug at the end and used his whole might to rip the cable from it.
After about five minutes of pure tugging, the cable finally snapped and freed the plug. Kyle wielded it like a knife and stabbed into the glass and broke it. Greg’s body plopped onto its knees and bounced off the rim of the capsule and onto the floor. The plug in his body falling off and dangling inside the empty tank.
He got on his knees and slapped Greg in the face. “Come on, wake up.” He said as he checked his pulse. The soft beating of veins proved he was still alive, but it was like he was passed out. He placed both of hands on his chest and started pressing down on it.
Greg’s body arched back and immediately forward as he started coughing the strange liquid he was breathing in. He was desperately gasping for air.
“Greg, you ok?” Kyle put his hand on his shoulder.
“God damn.” He responded as he rolled over on his side. “Where am I?”
“We’re still in this fucking facility man.”
“Huh?” Greg was bewildered, like his memory had just been wiped from his brain. “Who’re you?”
“It’s me Kyle, don’t you remember?”
He looked confused. “Kyle?”
“Yes!”
He still gazed up at him before his eyes lit up. “Oh Kyle, now I remember.” He sat himself up on his hands. “What’s going on?”
“It looks like when we were knocked out they connected us to these tubes. Probably to transform us into one of those monsters we saw on that computer.”
“Shit man.” He looked down at his exposed genitals and covered them. “Why the fuck am I naked?” He noticed that Kyle was also naked. “Why are you naked?”
“They took our clothes and stuck us in those tubes.”
“How long was I out for?”
“Beats me, I just woke up a few minutes ago.”
Greg slowly got up off the ground, his whole body sore. He looked up and saw the endless rows of capsules that littered the area. “Holy shit.”
“I know, it’s really sick and impressive at the same time. You would think if he kidnaps people at the diner a lot the police would soon catch on right? Or maybe he has paid them off. Considering the scale of this whole place and the funding this would require, I’m pretty sure that’s the case.”
“You would have to give the police a hefty check for them to just ignore this place altogether.”
“I wonder if he has connections to do so.”
“I really wouldn’t be surprised.”
They walk past many tanks of people that look disheveled, pale skin peeled off their body and their soulless eyes left open and sunken into their skull. They had extended limbs that looked unnatural.
“Poor bastards,”Greg said.
“I know.” Kyle looked rather serious. Greg caught on, realizing that he’s more angry than normal. Granted at the same time he hasn’t really known him for that long.
“Not to get personal or anything.” He tried his best to start the conversation. “But, do you know anything about these people?”
“No, why do you ask?” Kyle responded back.
“It’s just that you…Look really angry, like this is personal to you.”
“It’s not that I know these people, I just know what it’s like to be in their situation.”
“Oh ok.”
They both went silent as the sound of their footsteps echoed throughout the packed room. After trotting along aisles they spot a door in the distance down a long aisle of the repetitive tubes.
Coming closer to the door they could make out what it connected to. A glass pane that was tinted but just light enough you could outline what looks like another computer.
The door was a different type of metal than the one they are currently stepping on. It was a very dark gray that stuck out like a sore thumb compared to the light green glowing from the tubes enlightening the room.
Reaching the door Kyle immediately tried to open it but it was locked tight. He laughed at himself for expecting the door would be unlocked. He still held the plug in his hand and walked over to the window.
“If only I had my bat we would get in there.” Greg commentated.
“That’s why hopefully this’ll work.” He winded it back.
“I don’t think it’ll be that effective, that shit looks bulletproof-” He gets cut off by the loud shattering of glass as Kyle successfully breaks through. “Never fucking mind then.”
A blaring alarm goes off and a flashing red light blinks, beating out the light green hue.
“Let’s go.” Kyle said as he climbed through the gaping window. Greg followed behind, cutting himself at the loose pieces of sharp shards of glass.
“We should’ve expected that it would’ve set off an alarm.” Greg said. “We don’t even have a plan!” He threw his arms up in the air.
“I like to improvise more anyways.”
“Well you better hurry up then, guards could come barging here anytime now.”
The little sideroom they were in was filled with computers and panels with many buttons. It was completely dark in there you could barely see if it wasn’t for the brief red flashes that the alarm provided.
Kyle rushed over to one of the panels and started to press random buttons in the hopes that it would achieve something. By a stroke of luck he was able to push the exact button that releases all of the capsules.
They heard the rushing of liquid and the splats of multiple bodies hitting the floor, followed by a weird clicking of some kind. A loud choir of deafening screeches belt out from the ruined scratchy throats of the experimented. Both of them cover their ears and crouch behind the smashed opening. There was a huge banging near the entrance of the place and a huge barrage of voices of guards can be overheard.
They break down the door to be greeted by the terrors of the abominations, their bones cracking as their joints bent. They all scream and start firing but it’s too late. The creatures horde them and tear them apart. Kyle and Greg can do nothing but listen to the blood curdling screams, gushing sounds of flesh being ripped apart and the sound of blood being spilt. Crunches of skulls being crushed and the terrifying inhuman noises of these critters, similar to a pig’s squeal.
The pitter patter of their rapid footsteps flutter away and grow distant as they invade the other spaces within this facility. Kyle and Greg peek their heads out to see the carnage they left behind. The mangled remains of the guards scattered around in a huge gorey mess. Thankfully the rifles they had armed were left untouched.
Kyle flings himself over and rushes to the carcasses, quickly grabbing their guns and tosses one over to Greg.
“That was fucked man.” Greg said in a shutter.
“Walk it off buddy, I’ve seen much worse.” Kyle said. “Also kind of rich coming from you, but I’ll let it slide.”
“I-I, well-” He stuttered. “Shit.”
He went over and patted him on the back before pushing him forward. “Let’s go, we’re gonna bring this place down.” He stepped out into the crimson red hallway, the same color they were faced with when they first arrived here. Little wet footstep puddles that indicated where the creatures scurried off to. “We’ll just let those people tear through the guards while we stroll along.”
“What’re we going to do? Head for the exit? We still need our stuff, especially my bat.”
“Yeah, that’s why I’m hoping we find the place where they keep all of our stuff.”
They both carefully sneak around the hallways, coming across several bloody corpses of guards. In the distance they can hear many screams of terror and then the forceful ripping of a limb getting torn off.
Each room they passed they checked but they were only bathrooms, little office cubicles, and break rooms. Strolling through the halls Kyle noticed that there was a strange looking sprinkler that lined each hallway, he thought to himself how it doesn’t look like any sprinkler he’s seen before. It had the shape of a gas pipe more than anything else. He took it to note before forging onwards.
It was a good long while before they finally found something huge. Reluctantly opening the door expecting disappointment, Kyle was shockingly surprised when he found the storage area. Almost as big as the room where he was kept in.
“Nice.” He said.
There were many shelves and boxes filled with clothes and other personal belongings, but the major stockpile of shirts, pants, and underwear overshadowed everything.
“Let’s go find our shit and let’s go.” Greg pushed past Kyle.
“Just one problem though, how the fuck are we going to find them?”
Greg paused and looked at the vast majority of the stacked clothes. At the very tippy top is Kyle’s teal shirt. “There!” He pointed.
“That was easier than expected.”
They climb to the top and rummage through and get all dressed up, finally not feeling the cool air that flows throughout the facility.
Gathering all of their stuff, Greg was on the search for his bat but failed to find it here.
“Should’ve known he wouldn’t put it in here. He’s probably decommissioning it right now as we speak.” He said
“Then how about we snatch from him.” Kyle says as he jumps down from the pile. “Hurry up, those people killing those guards won’t last that long. I know this man is not stupid enough to not have a backup plan when things go batshit crazy.” Noticing a crate that is filled with equipment for the guards, that included some gas masks. He picked two of them up and walked over to the door.
“Where would we even find him? If we don’t have long then we can’t do our old strategy of checking random doors that’ll take too long.”
“Instead of us finding him, have him come to us. It’ll be much easier.”
“How the hell would we even do that?”
“I have an idea.”
He walks outside the storage room and grabs a grenade from a guard’s corpse and walks back into the storage room.
“Get out Greg.” Kyle warned him before he pulled the pin. “Also take this.” He handed him a gas mask. “Put it on when you get outside.”
“Why?”
“Just listen to me.”
Greg followed his command and stormed outside.
Kyle yanked the pin out and threw the grenade onto the pile.

The clothes blow up in a fiery blaze, little balls of flaming clothes fall over the place, The fire quickly spreads as Kyle puts on his own gas mask.
“Come on now you piece of shit.” He stood there waiting for something. “Any time now.”
The fire caught on the rest of the whole storage room and the smoke built up very quickly, making him have to leave the room and out into the crimson hallway.
“Why did you blow that up?” Greg curiously asked.
“It should be one second from now.” Kyle pointed up at the ceiling, where a sprinkler lay dormant.
In perfect timing, the sprinkler started emitting a noticeably red looking gas. In a blink of an eye it started engulfing the entire area.
“I knew it.” Kyle cockingly said. “You did have a backup plan, figures.”
A loud whoosh is heard coming from the other end of the hallway. Multiple bangings of metal are heard and the yells from the creatures screeching voice followed by a loud crashing sound. A body of one of the critters came and splattered on a wall at the other end.
The scientist from earlier comes swooping around the corner and comes barreling towards the both of them. He is wearing an entire suit of body armor along with a gas mask. The most important thing is that he has Greg’s bat, holding it firmly in his hands as he comes flying at them.
“Get out of the way!” Kyle pushes Greg as the scientist hits him square on in the chest, sending him flying into a wall, making a huge dent in it.
Luckily his gas mask still stayed intact. He fell to the ground on his hands and knees.
“I’ve never felt like this before.” The scientist laughed. “The amount of power you have in this is insane, it’s a shame it landed in your hands instead of mine.” He pointed the bat in Greg’s face. Before he could get a blast off, Kyle fires multiple high caliber rounds but they bounce off his armor.
“Idiot.” He scoffed.
Greg jumps at the scientist's face and punches him in the gas mask. He just ended up hurting his hand more than the mad man himself.
“No wonder you couldn’t do a single damn thing with this contraption.” The scientist grabbed his neck and started choking him. Kyle lunges and punches him in the chest multiple times.
“You’re annoying.” He swung the bat around and he pointed it in Kyle’s face, releasing a huge blast and sent soaring into the already dented wall and completely through it. His body launches into another room, crashing into a living quarters, tearing down bunk beds as he slams against a wall. His gas mask crumbles apart and falls off his face. Thankfully, the gas that enveloped the whole place has frittered away.
Greg lunged his legs back and let loose on the scientist’s face, making him drop to the ground on his legs. His natural instinct was to reach for the bat, but a thought accrued to him.
Shit, If I reach for that and I don’t succeed, he’ll blast me into little fleshy pieces in an instant. I may be stronger than the normal person but I’m no Kyle. If he hits me like he did to him, I’ll definitely be like a fly colliding into a windshield. The best thing for me to do is.
He got to his feet and ran around the corner as fast as he could. Swiftly turning around bends and trying desperately to find somewhere to hide.
“You fuckers!” The scientist angrily cried out. “I’ll fucking kill you!” He started up the bat and flew down the hallway to chase him down.197Please respect copyright.PENANA39ugAsa7N7
