Bill and Tom entered my room with my mom leading the way. They peered around her to me. What exactly was I supposed to do? Give them a huge welcome home gift or something? I felt like I hardly knew them anymore, so what was I supposed to do?
"Kelly, the boys wanted to see you." She said. I glanced at her and the twins again.
"Okay," I mumbled. She smiled once more and walked out.
"It's nice to see you again, Kelly," Tom said. I smiled and positioned myself over the spot where I put the blade.
"Same to you, Tom," I smiled and hugged him. "You guys have really been getting out there, haven't you?"
"Ja, it's pretty great." Bill said, picking up one of my old c.d.'s and looking at it.
"You guys said you would be gone for three months, what happened?" Tom responded this time.
"Well, our manager had us do some shows around town and the surrounding areas, but we were taken all around Deutschland. He kind of surprised us by doing so, and there was nothing we could do about it."
"I see. Did you guys have fun?" I laughed a little, as if it was supposed to be funny.
"Ja, but we missed home. It was about time that we came home though."
"Good thing you did too, people were starting to stalk your guys' house. It was a little annoying." Tom laughed, but Bill simply looked at me. He didn't say anything and walked out. "Is he okay?" I asked.
"Our dad's been coming to the concerts with our parents. Bill's been pretty upset about it."
"Ah, I understand." I smiled up at him. "I'm sure that it will get better soon. No doubt!"
"Thank's, Kelly." He smiled back and patted my shoulder.
"Are you hungry?"
"Ja, thanks." I walked out downstairs with Tom trailing behind me.
"Mutter, I am making some sandwiches, do you want one?"
"Ja, please. And one for Simone too?" I nodded and went to the kitchen. I pulled out eight pieces of bread, some cheese and meat.
"Tell me about your tour then. I've wanted to ask about it for a while." I said, putting together the first sandwich and handing it to him.
"Well, let's see..." He paused and looked up.
We lost a dream we never had.
