I waved the Kaulitz's out. I forgot how much I had missed them. Bill was simply stubborn and wouldn't even look at me after a while. It was dark by the time they had left. I could tell Bill wanted to just leave and go home. Tom, on the other hand, detailed as much as he could about his tour to me. We sat up in my room most of the day, laughing and catching up. I didn't want to sleep that night. It meant giving up one of the best days I've had in months. My tired eyes eventually clasped shut. The next morning ran as usual. I got up and went to work. From the sound of things, no one knew that the twins were back. I was unusually happy, and everyone could tell.
"What's with you today?" Jeremy asked.
"What do you mean?" I pretended I was oblivious to my mod change.
"You're actually happy and not pissy." He said.
"Oh, that," I laughed a little. "I just got to see some old friends yesterday is all." He eyed me cautiously.
"Your attitude makes it seem like whoever it was are more than just friends,"
"They were just friends! I promise. Besides, I would never have a chance with them." I smiled at him. "It was just nice to see them again and it brought back some great memories!"
"Sure, I was just going to say that it's a good thing. The customers are loving you for once." I laughed with him and continued cleaning the blenders. About half way through the day, I sat down for a few minutes.
"Jeremy! Mein Fruen! Make me a muffin? Fresh? Bitte aus?" I gave him puppy eyes and he sighed, rolling his eyes.
"Only for you, Schönes." I smiled and thanked him. I pulled out my IPod and shuffled through the song list slowly. He came out after a minute and handed me the muffin. He looked up and stopped dead in his tracks.
"What? Is something wrong?"
"Look at the door..." He whispered. I glanced at the door to see Tom and Bill followed by Gustav and Georg. I smiled widely and got up.
"Tom!" I went up and hugged him. "What are you doing here?" I asked.
"You said you worked at a Starbucks, so we've been all over looking for which one. You said that you guys had the best coffee of any Starbucks here, no?"
"That I did!" I walked behind the counter, Jeremy's eyes following my every step. "What can I get for you, mein fruen?" I tapped their order on the screen, nodding for Jeremy to help me with their drinks.
"Are they the 'friends' you were talking about?" He asked quietly. I nodded. "Why didn't you ever tell me!?"
"Because I didn't think it was that big of a deal. No need to get angry! Help me with these drinks, please?" Jeremy sighed and grabbed two of the drinks. Everyone had their eyes glued on the four boys sitting in the corner of the cafe. They all seemed so content with life, and for once, looked like they felt normal. They seemed happy, including Bill, which made me happy.
