A nimble figure appeared out of nowhere, seemingly materializing from the dust surrounding him, and grabbed hold of his arm. Before he could react, the figure twisted and used Winston's momentum to throw him towards a nearby building. His suit beeped and flashed red warning lights as he crashed through several feet of concrete and metal. His visor cracked as a metal rod protruding from the concrete struck it.
'Winston? Winston are you okay?' the radio in his suit crackled.564Please respect copyright.PENANAUDFAVBcVjW
Dazed, Winston sat up where he had fallen.
"America?" he answered.
'What the hell happened? Your trajectory changed mid-air by ninety degrees!'564Please respect copyright.PENANA6KXNKGis1v
"There was a woman..." Winston stood up, groaning with pain. Though the inertia dampeners in his suit had absorbed most of the shock, his body had still twisted in several uncomfortable positions as he had crashed into the building. It was a miracle none of his bones had broken. "She said something about cavalry-"

"Yeah. She just popped in front of me and threw me in this building."564Please respect copyright.PENANA5SAnfZ7Dsn
'Winston, you need to get out-'564Please respect copyright.PENANAOGtwGTFuUh
There was a loud pop and his radio started hissing static.564Please respect copyright.PENANAj9BdVFs3F6
"America? You there?" Winston said, now growing worried.
He ran to the hole where he had crashed through and looked outside. The giant mech was still there, wreaking havoc in the middle of the city.
"Beautiful, isn't it?" a voice said from behind him.
Winston whirled around, aiming the gun in his suit in the general direction of the voice. There was no one there.
"Who are you?" he asked, inching forward slowly, scanning the entire room for signs of life. All his eyes could see were smashed furniture and chunks of concrete on the floor.
"Why, I am the Cavalry, of course."
Winston turned around, his gun ready. Empty again.
The voice giggled. This time, it seemed to come from within his suit.
"Look at you, frightened beyond your wits," the voice said again.
"Just who the hell are you?" Winston was starting to visibly sweat.564Please respect copyright.PENANAcqVLZ849MT
"It's sad, really. None of you younger generation know about me. Me. I was once the most talked about person on the planet. And now, nobody knows me. Well, your friend America seems to know."
Winston's heart was racing now. The voice seemed to come from everywhere. And yet, he could see no one. He cursed under his breath. Only if his visor had not been damaged. Then, he might have located whoever was talking to him using the suit's inbuilt radar.
"Are you the one who threw me here?" he asked.
The voice giggled again.
"Yes, I am. I couldn't have you harming my baby boy now could I?"
"Your baby boy?"
"The one you were going to attack."
"That giant mech? He's your baby boy?"
"Indeed."
Suddenly, Winston felt as if something was gripping his hand. He could see nothing yet there was a force keeping him from moving his arm. Slowly, against his will, the invisible force turned the hand around, aiming the gun mounted on the wrists towards his face.564Please respect copyright.PENANAC7857kWhjg
"What ... the ... hell ..." Winston muttered through grit teeth as he sought desperately to take control of his arm and move it away.
"Your species humiliated me."
Black dust coalesced into a hand around his wrist.
"They tried to kill me."
More dust came together and formed an arm.
"When that failed, you imprisoned me."
The arm soon grew into a torso.
"For a thousand years, I waited in my prison."
Two legs extended out the torso. A pair of breasts formed on the chest.
"Now, I am free."564Please respect copyright.PENANA2sq1jyta2a

Winston found himself staring at a pair of black voids where the eyes should have been on the head that had formed from the black dust. It was the figure of a woman, black and metallic, that stood before me, holding his arm in a tight grip with his own weapon aimed at him.
The mouth on the head moved.
"Your struggle is futile. You can never win against me now. I have learnt from my past failure - the old weapon won't work on me anymore."
"Just who the hell are you?" The pain in his wrist was growing unbearable. Winston felt his suit heating up as the gun in his wrist that he was being forced to aim at his own head started charging.564Please respect copyright.PENANACi9pVYU0WZ
