"Hey Sophia. What did you think?" Hannes asked as he came up to me with a smile.
“Amazing! Thank you so much!” I signed excitedly.
Hannes chuckled. We talked for a few minutes and I used my journal to communicate the more complex things as we got everything loaded up again.
"Hey, so the guys and I have been talking," Hannes started when we were finally done and on the road back to my place, "and we were wondering if you'd like to become an official member of Sabaton. You could be our sign language interpreter, or a stagehand, or even both if you'd like. I know you don't live in the best of areas, so you'd be a lot safer," he offered with a small smile.
My face lit up like Christmas lights.
“ Really?” I signed.
Hannes smiled and chuckled.
"Yes, really," he said.
"Absolutely, you're one of us now, and there's no going back because you already got on stage with us," Joakim said with a light chuckle.
“ I would love that! Thank you so much!”
Hannes smiled and nodded.
"Do you need to go back to your place to get your things?" he then asked and I nodded.
When we got there, I ran in and quickly packed all of my things. I talked with my landlord and she agreed to let me pay half my rent for the remaining three months. She was really the only good about the area I had lived in for a few years. She was very understanding and helped me through a lot. She wished me the best and told her to let her know whenever I was in town so she could come see me. I got back on the bus and told Hannes about it.
"Well, you don't need to have another job if you don't want to," he told me.
“ Thank you. I'm definitely going to focus all on this for a while. I mean, this is a dream job I never thought would actually happen.” I signed and smiled happily.
Hannes chuckled softly. "And you won't have to worry about creeps like that guy on the night we met," he added.
"If you still happen to encounter someone like that though, now you have a band of crazy Swedish dudes who aren't afraid to tear anyone apart to back you up," Par mentioned with a chuckle.
I laughed silently and hugged Par to say thank you. He smiled and hugged me back.
"We all got your back, Sophia," Tommy said and the rest of the guys agreed.
“ Thank you all so much.”
