Not everyone who speaks to you friendly, was really your friend.
- Arya Stark
Klaus darted towards the gates of the empire, hauling his hand into aggression as he flew the palace doors open, "Pray tell, you reckon I play a sickly game, mother?" He boomed, his mother jolted a bit before amending her causes of reports, "Do you cerebrate I play a sick game either?" she responded, before accepting a sip of her tea. He dashed towards the table, slamming his hands onto it as he grits his teeth, "You think I wouldn't be so lenient of a request you had sent for someone else to retrieve father's things in lieu of me? out of all people?" His raspy whispers, sheathed themselves from the abrupt argument that rung noise across the castle, "I only sent your older brother, Apollo." She uttered, proceeding to drink her tea.475Please respect copyright.PENANALLqFlktzlZ

Klaus threw into a fit of rage, as he hauled a vase, propelling it towards the wall, "I am the next heir to the throne! I must amend to these situations to my father! And I will be a devoted king if it's going to be the last thing I retrieve before my older brother!" His voice filled with anguish, was stripped raw and dry when he howled and cried, within his words held the beast inside of him ready to mauled out of his body. "I was looking for a family reunion in the progress, but I guess what I got doesn't appeal to me, Out of all things, you culled him in lieu of your next king, for all my years you have mistreated me with nonchalance from him." his raspy voice lowered into a breathy stage tone.
"Once this woman walks into the kingdom of Nora, I will espouse her off, and I will receive this throne afore my brother, and I am not hesitant to kill him just to receive the monarch position, I subsist to cease." He leaned his weight off of the table, before he turned around with a swivel motion, guiding himself near the ends of the doors.
He huffed, as Klaus' mother erected from her chair, "You are impuissant in lieu of him, nothing compared to him is anything more vigorous than of you." She said, before plodding towards him, her hand raised as she caroled the words, "Virltra Megnos Deflare" Klaus' body plummeted onto the ground, his head inflamed and throbbing of excruciating pain, His mind developed past regressions of his own memories, He slammed his fists onto the ground, as if forced to kneel down to his mother, "You cerebrate, because you are the next heir, you will be as vigorous as I? You have my blood within your veins, and you cerebrate with all of your might that you can outcast your potent brother? A selfish king, won't survive, just like you, Klaus." 475Please respect copyright.PENANARbf0p64oSz

Klaus wailed with such pangs of wounds, his head pounds against his skull as flashbacks flash within his mind, voices within his head shrieked and bellowed. She mustered up the aloof coldness within her voice and tone, "Your people, our nation, will outcast a Hybrid such as you, surely the spell will wear off in a couple of hours." She brushed her nails against the strands of her hair, "Oppose me once more, you won't be reigning as the next monarch for this peace treaty." 475Please respect copyright.PENANA5lcGB7bAhD

Klaus could hear her footsteps become loud, soon emerging mellow as she egresses out the door, his pain grew ragingly, his sweat bulleted from the sides of his forehead, Back within his mind was a painful memory, within his memory was a voice of his trauma, "No! Mother! Please, Don't, this hurts!" The young boy's tone was filled with fear amongst his own allies, "Mother!" The voice proceeded to ring within his ears, Klaus closed his eyes, as the trauma linked in within his mind, he could hear it all, the bones cracking, the shrieks of his cry, the pain he had experienced in the past. But, no one, had ever saved him from his pain, not even his mother who spectated his pain with her own cold eyes. He was tormented, neither mentally nor physically, but his aggression grew more into a game of his own cards; Vengeance and power.
He flew onto his knees, his hands recoiled and cringed together as he faces upwards with a cry of a dragon overlapping with his cries.
Apollo viewed in heartache as he saw his younger brother onto the floor, in affliction. His heart throbbed, but with no avail he approached Klaus, Klaus onto his knees cried like a banshee with his dragon stigma, "Stop! Don't come close to me, you bastard!" He wailed, as his voice was amalgamated with a in-human like growl, His eyes grew into a lightening wolves'-like yellow, his scales grew onto the sides of his hands, whereas his body scrunched with his bones contorting. Starting from his legs, they ruptured, as if they teared bits of his body in pieces, his hands contorted also, in the most gruesome ways possible, flicking it backwards and forwards. Apollo couldn't say any word, but just view his youngest brother in pain.
He gave another screech before it echoed throughout the castle.
Aspen hurled a thin piece of wood with the ends of his knife, carving a sharp point of the tip of an arrow onto a thin piece of wood, "Aspen, you're up this early." Diana said, she held onto a small pan where she schlepped towards the horses, clattering it onto the ground as she hung another pan from her arms, sauntering towards the end of the cold creek dipping the pan into the cold water once more, collecting it. "You're highness." He said, he dug his knife into the piece of bark, proceeding to carve more arrows into it, discarding it into his quiver, "We are almost at the end of our journey, we must just go North and we'll be there—"475Please respect copyright.PENANAApKzAdn7jd

"Aspen, Stop avoiding me." She said firmly, interrupting Aspen's words before she moved in slightly closer towards him, she let her hood fall near her shoulders, her breaths obscured within the winter's atmosphere, the coldness hitched onto her neck and onto her pale ears, Aspen had no words to express his utter heartache, "Your highness, I think it's time we get ready for our journey North." Aspen stood onto his feet, placing the last arrow he had carved with his knife into his quiver, Diana grappled onto his wrist, "Aspen, you've been avoiding me ever since Marcellius caught us, What is so wrong with going to Nora? I could just call off the marriage—"475Please respect copyright.PENANAFEiPDobGG8

"Don't." He perched in place, with his hands latching onto his quiver, constructing it onto the saddle of his horse, "You don't need to rethink things when you are already doing this as a peace treaty." He faced towards her, pivoting his feet as he twisted, "We fell in love, Diana, That's it. We both knew what was going to happen, it had been done." He sighed, heaving himself onto the horse as he pulled Diana up. She just sat up silently, wrapping her arms around his torso, his sorrowful words made his stomach churn more, filling his composed feelings of guilt, He stayed silent in return, trotting his horse towards the area where they encountered General Kawan and King Elrik.
Marcellius stood near the front-line of the tree, bearing the reigns onto his horse as he guided it towards the ends of the bark lines, pressing his foot onto the saddle's stirrup, pulling himself up while hauling his other leg onto the other side, "Good morning, King Elrik," His horse forcibly racked near the rear of the formation, "Marcellius." King Elrik responded with a bow as he ambled forwards leaving a little space for the guards to catch up with his pace, "Our venture is closing near the cessation of the miles, we must act expeditious afore we meet them, it has now been our second night into the woods, and we must hurry expeditiously, our peregrination is near the cessation to Kingdom of Nora." King Elrik boomed. 475Please respect copyright.PENANAkG6kxG2AC2

He faced forwards, his horse beldam onto the snowy plains, leading the group near the ends of the following woods, jogging in an open-field of meadow, They continued journeying through the meadow, eyes peeking and pealing around their angles in case something were to pop out of the meadow nor the front-lined trees. Diana proceeded to cling onto Aspen's torso. His hair flowed within the winter's wind.
Everyone stayed silent, within this silence, the only things they were capable of hearing were the clanging of the men's armor and the wind that whistled across their faces into both of their ears, That morning, the woods were filled with an ominous brittle silence. There was a shriek from the trees that both Aspen and Diana heard was a branch twisting under the sheer weight of ice. Cold licked at her face and crept under her clothes, spreading across her skin like the lacy tide on a frigid winter coldness. With pink lips tinged with a bit purple and gently chattering teeth she wrapped her thick fur coat around her slightly tighter.475Please respect copyright.PENANAXbG5BVvzCg

The biting cold chilled her fingers into clumsy numbness, cold seeped into the tip of her fingers and spread painfully throughout her body as if it were her bare feet on the pristine icy whiteness rather than her winter fur boots. His lips turned a more purplish hue and his teeth chattered like a pneumatic drill. He began to lose his sense of time, had they been out there for minutes or hours? The frigid wind poked him like icy fingers and wrapped around him like a shawl woven from the snow itself.475Please respect copyright.PENANAAiR50n5sGs

They reached the end of the meadow, the cold stalked her through the mountain passes like a specter death, the bitter wind laughed as it tore right to their heart and turned their blood to icy sludge. Their muscles began to ache and grind like the cogs in old machine. The winds raged through the winter morning, as the sun rose with a sense of warmth onto their skin. "We are virtually at the edge of the meadow nearing the depths of the mountain ranges!" King Elrik muttered, but the wind had only muffled his voice.
Before them towered, a mountain terrain with a enormous lake that sat under the mountain, with blue glaciers etching close towards the ice piled water, they patrolled around for more paths instead of walking across the water, The river appears still, yet she flows under the thinnest of ice, awaiting the gentle touch of the sun. Though the air bares only the coldness and the ground is frozen once more, they glitter with the gift of each nascent ray. Asking them to see the sparks that remain even when the world is frozen. And so she choose not to see the blanket of ice but the waters that remain deep and moving, where she had to join the rest to cross the river, "we are crossing this lake, everyone be meticulous, if anything were to transpire alert the others," King Elrik said.
The hooves tapped onto the thin ice, as they slowly jogged towards the edge of the lake, one step after the other as silence bestowed the best of them, they trudged until each reached their paths onto the ice. The hooves rambled until they reached the center of the lake. They took a moment, before they hear a crack within the ice, with a subtle surprise the ice broke from behind them like brittle frosting on a cake, Chunks as big as cars were cleaved to each side on the prow in the icy depths. Diana gasped, as the hind legs of Aspen's horse sunk within the cold water, his horse leaped off as it felt the ping pierce of coldness, the hooves clattered onto the ground breaking a section of the ice as a bellow came out of Marcellius' mouth, "Go go go!"
Aspen grunted as his horse skid onto the ice, then galloping it's way towards the other side, Diana gawked an eye as she had seen the rest of the ice trail fall beneath her, The rest had reached the other side, leaving Diana and Aspen onto the lake, with all his faith and hope, he guaranteed they'd be alive by then, his horse ran as it huffed. Within Aspen's mind came a string of fear and treacherous thoughts, He shook his head knowing that fear would never be the answer. Diana spectated the front and behind, eyeing the other side of the lake as the ice trail proceeded to break beneath them.
His horse dashed towards the other side, as if it was dashing to a finish line. Diana gripped hard when she wrapped her arms around Aspen's torso, digging her face onto his back, "Aspen, Diana!" The ice broke in front of him, and the only thing his horse did was heaved a final leap as it's hooves pounded onto the earthy soil, thank god. The relief of both parties, were safe. King Elrik felt his relief also, he doubted the moment they were near the water, his fear devouring him whole. His horse pivoted a spin, "Is everyone alright?" He said, concernedly.
"Yes, we are." Marcellius replied, Diana's heart was beating none stop, vigorously pounding against her chest, Aspen sighed, looking back towards Diana who continued to grapple onto his torso. Her heavy warm breaths warming his back, "Are you alright Diana?" Aspen said, Diana gawked an eye up, nodding. "Yes, I am, are you?" She questioned, Aspen gave a soft grin that outstretched ear to ear, "I am, also."
Marcellius viewed the interaction between both Diana and Aspen, his upper row of his teeth attacked his bottom lips, He was already agitated.
But, Diana imagined climbing to the top of the tallest mountain that towered in front of her, her breath coming out in small short breaths and her hands cold from the winter air. In her imagination, she was already at the top as looked down. Everything seemed to rush at her all at once, it seemed to spin and swirl about her legs as if it were the universe, and she was its center. Continuing to imagine, Diana felt small as she gazed at the colors of winter rushing to meet her on her tall peak. She closed her imaginary eyes, spread her imaginary arms wide, and breathed. The cold winter air sliced into her lungs with fierce vivacity, bringing hints of the earthy smell of dirt with it. Imaginary Diana furrowed her eyebrows and breathed again, feeling the energy of life flow over her. Her skin tingled and her heart beat a steady tune, as her ears welcomed the rush of the wind and the stirring of the earth.475Please respect copyright.PENANAymamMVQKqM

She then opened her eyes, and exhaled slowly, her breath clouding her view of the mountains. How truly beautiful and vast the earth was, she marveled to herself, Aspen’s world-colored eyes opened wide as he stared off into the distance. This place, it was so beautiful. It made him feel something deep within. He allowed his eyes to wonder along the small white hills and valleys, following dry creek beds and bare winter trees. his eyes traced the line of the horizon and paused on the broad mountains towering above it. The jagged peaks of the snow-capped mountains caused a stirring in his soul. A thirst for adventure and beauty awakened in his heart and flowed out into the tips of his toes, making him want to make his horse run straight into the embrace of the proud mountains with Diana. "The mountains are so beautiful," retorted Diana.
Aspen let a chuckle escape from his mouth, as he peered up to see the mountain skyward, "When the melt comes to the mountains, it is the evergreens who show the season change first." He said, "The white-winter coats will gaily swapped for deepest green and the ground-snow remains as glacial rivers for a time. A few more weeks and there will be rocks showing from the white, then the earth below. This is the time when the streams run full, when their life is infused with fresh water, pure and clean. Together with the birdsong, their watery percussion is the music of nature," He added, Diana scoffed, slowly shaking her head as she felt enchanted by his voice, "Well, that was poetic, Mr. Shakespeare." A soft short giggle rambled from her mouth.
"Well, it happens when you read books now and then." Aspen stated, gripping the reigns tightly. The mountain is pristine and white, even the dark green of the pines is mostly coated in the crystalline snow, it laid down within the distance where the King guided them through the deepened snowy mountain path. Hours upon hours grew into a silent winter venture, It gave Aspen some kind of creative narration to cool his head filled with boredom, "The winter landscape breathed deeply beneath heaven's eiderdown. Beneath a silky layer of white, beneath the angel's carpet of snow, the green of late-season crops shines through with an ethereal glow." He recited a book within his mind, it was his favorite book, that his father gave to him before he passed away. "Say, Aspen." Diana said.
"What is it, Diana?" He inquired, Diana sat still before maneuvering herself a bit to adjust, "If you were a dragon, and you can't shift what would you do?" Aspen rubbed his chin a bit before answering, his thought of process deepen his mind into waking up, "If I wasn't able to shift then I would be the saddest dragon out there." He responded, Diana gave a sigh as she looked down, "Why are you asking that?" He said fondly, Diana moulded a forgery smile that etched from across her lips. "I was just thinking about it recently." She retorted.
The snow squall began as if by pent up divine rage, flurries of white cascading from clouds of heaven-spun silver, The snow squall came at them like the world was an old fashioned television set that had just lost reception. Breath pale against the numbing air, Diana blinked thoughtfully as the frost patiently kissed her face, captivated by the soft, dusty illusions of light that sat heavy on her eyelashes. She adored the snow, moreso when it was falling. "Can I ask you another question, Aspen?" She asked once more before letting another sigh slip through her warm mouth, Aspen proceeded to scavenge the area with his eyes, "Ask away, Princess." His deep voice boomed against his throat, as if rocks clashed against eachother every time you threw it against the concrete. "If I weren't a dragon, would you still love me?"
Aspen felt something thick within his throat that was caught, Silence was upon them taking moments to answer, he opened his mouth, his voice contorting into a stage tone, "I would still be loving you, until the day I die, Diana." He responded.
