Maybe it was just about how much of her was a secret, but maybe it was just out of plain curiosity of what she was truly like. But, Lucas couldn't help but wonder about that girl. Out of pure boredom and a pure love of music, he pulled out his phone putting on his headphones. Scrolling endlessly through his playlist, he was playing a recording of his guitar cover, reviewing how it sounded. As he waited at a cross light, he sighed to himself remembering Kat's piano recording. He immediately pulled out his phone, looking through the recordings for kat's song. When he found it he began to play it, and it was just how he remembered it. It was a song that she had played and sang out of pure emotion, sadness.
His face lit up with an idea, as he ran across the street before the light said go. Which was a daring move, because he could've been hit by cars that barely managed to stop. Running past many buildings and stores he ran to the downtown part of town. When he stopped , he began to catch his breath and looked up toward the building in front of him. He took out a key from a necklace wrapped around his neck that he tucked away in his shirt. Unlocking one of the doors to the huge building, he ran inside past a guard at the desk. "Oh, Lucas, what are you doing here so early? Mason isn't here!" "I'm here on my own accord! Is Studio 5 open?" The guard looked at him and then he nodded his head. "Great! I'm going to make history now! You'll thank me later man!"
The guard gave a smile with a sigh, and Lucas just ran down the hallway with a devious look on his face. Arriving at a door, he opened it and dropped his stuff in the side of the room. He looked around thinking slightly. Hooking his phone up to the studio board, he played with the keys as if trying to find the right beat and rhythm. He was using Katherine's song, he seemed to have an idea in his head, and he surely was sticking to it.

Katherine sat in her room cleaning up what was left off the things Lucas knocked over. As she put away the stuff, she had found a piece of paper with a note on it. She looked at it, and it made her recall what were now painful memories. She looked at it, it was a note that Aiden had written her. She looked at it, and quickly shoved it Into the book and threw the book into the box. She rose from the ground, looking toward her computer. She walked to her laptop and opened the top, going to her Gmail. She checked through her messages, and hovered her mouse over "Compose".
Clicking on it, She looked toward Her contacts, and she saw what used to be Aiden email in her contacts. She held her mouse over his contact for a couple of seconds, and then she abruptly closed the laptop and got up from the chair. It was as if the pain was eating her from inside, but what little that was left of her was being held together by peeling away tape. She walked toward her bed and laid down hugging her pillow.
"why was i born into the world to suffer so much?..." Katherine hugged her pillow tighter, pulling it closer to her. Every time she thought about Aiden, it hurt her so much. Lucas, he had brought all these feelings back to the surface. Maybe it is just why she was brought into the world, just to suffer from losing the one she loved. She shouldn't have become so close to Aiden, otherwise she wouldn't have suffered so much. Or, that's what she told herself. She thought that if she hadn't met Aiden, none of this would have happened. But, at the same time, if she hadn't met Aiden she wouldn't have met her best friend.
Aiden wasn't to blame for this, but Katherine blamed herself for leaving his side. She should've stayed with him that day, maybe then he wouldn't be dead. Katherine was suddenly pulled out of her thoughts when she got a notification from her phone. Grabbing it, she looked at the notification, it was from the school blog. She scrolled through, checking to see if it was worth the look. It was from the music program blog, and she didn't remember why she was still subscribed to their blog.
But, then she saw it, a video of pure shock. This video was of her playing piano, it was lucas who uploaded it. Gripping her phone tighter, she was now upset. And he hadn't gave the name of who was playing though, all you could see was her from behind. So, no one knew who she was, but he did touch up the recording. She slammed her phone down beside her on her bed. That was the last straw, Lucas was a nuisance. She was going to speak to him at school on Monday, once this project was over, she was done with him.
