So, first off, I want to apologize for how long it took me to get to the results of this contest. I wish the contest had ended a little later because it's due date hit during the worst time for me. However, I have finally had a chance to re-read everyone's entries and have come to a decision.
The first place winner was decided on the creepiest story that would both translate well into audio and would make the most sense as a first episode for the horror podcast I'm going to be producing. Second and third place winners were decided based on which stories would be great runner ups should the first place winner decide that they would prefer I not turn their story into an audio production.
I will be reaching out to the winner shortly after posting this to discuss the next phase.
Great job everyone and thank you so much for participating in this contest and being patient with me. These were all some great and creepy stories, and I appreciate you all following the rules. The community here on Penana has got to be one of the best I have ever found on the internet. 😊
