Milly's POV
My phone continues to ring every hour of everyday and it is only one person; Eric. After what had happened on the side of the road, I haven't talked to him or anyone. I go to school and then come home. I don't go anywhere. And every time that phone rings, I ignore it. I don't want to accept the fact that I was wrong for reacting like that... again.
"Milly come down here! Someone is here to see you!" my mom yells up the stairs. I trudge downstairs only to see my grammy.
My grammy means the world to me. Ever since I was little, she was the only one who seemed to understand what I was going through. She always let me lay on her lap, where she stroked my hair and gave some of her homemade chocolate chip cookies. She gives me some of the most honest advice and honestly I am grateful that she came over today because I need her more than ever.
"Hi Grammy." I say solemnly.
"Amillyana what is wrong with you?" my mom screeches.
Grammy wraps me in a hug and says "Adrienne calm down, everything is fine." She and I walk outside and we sit on the porch swing. I rest my head on her lap and she starts stroking my hair.
"What's wrong?" she says quietly.
"There is this guy who could potentially like me and he kissed me." I start
"What's wrong with that?" she is utterly confused
"He is rude to me and when he kissed me I didn't feel anything so I called him a liar. Now he calls me nonstop and I ignore him" I can feel a tear forming.
"Milly, no guy is worth crying over."
"Well then why am I crying?" I cry out.
"Milly you like him more than you think you do and you distance yourself a lot. I'm not telling you to call him now and tell him that you love him. But maybe you should maybe think about it the way that he is."
"But Grammy I don't want him to use me or get tired of me." I explain to him.
"Well I will make sure that he won't, because we are going to change your whole wardrobe and get you a couple things for your room."
Grammy always does things for me, but nothing this big.
"Thanks Grammy." I smile at her.
"Now go get your keys so we can go."
I sprint into the house and snatch my keys off the key rack and in a matter of seconds Grammy and I are speeding out of the driveway.
