Lunch time, the time katherine sat on the roof by herself eating lunch. The roof of the school was not accessible for students, but katherine had been given a key by the janitor. It's a long story on how she got the key, but what's important is that in the end she got the key. She enjoyed eating alone, well, kind of. She didn't mind being alone, after all, that is what she wished for to begin with. As she opened the can of coke she bought on her way to school, she took a sip looking at the view of the school from the railing.
She watched many people run out school to try to make it to the McDonald's that was near here. And she watched people eating their lunch out side on the school steps, she gave it a sigh and drank more of her soda. Then, she heard the door to the roof open from the back of her view. "Hey." Stopping her movements abruptly, she knew who this voice belonged too. "I told you to leave me alone." She simply stated, her voice became somewhat shaky. "But, i had to talk to you about everything that happened yest-" "Nothing happened yesterday, k? I said it how it is, we are done with the project, so leave me alone." "Actually, you left something out."
She turned her head toward him, her eyes giving a cold glance at him. "What?" He reached into his bag, as she looked at him with an eyebrow raised. "You forgot this." When he finally held up what he was reaching for, her eyes went wide as she dropped her can of coke that was halfway empty. Suddenly rising from where she sat, she looked at him, her eyes wide like she was losing her composer. "W-where the hell did you get that?!" "I'm surprised you didn't notice i took it from your room." Shaking slowly, she looked at him as if she had saw a ghost. "G-give it back! That doesn't belong to you!" Her eyes focused on what he had in his hands, it was a photo of her and Aiden. "What's weird is the initials on the back are 'K + A'. i know k could mean katherine," "Who cares?! You can't just take peoples stuff like that!"
He looked at her and then began chuckling slightly. And yet again, Aiden's face was in front of her, it was just like that time. But more importantly, the picture was adding onto the tension.
"A-aiden..." Lucas looked at her with a irritated look. Walking up to her impatiently, he put the picture right in front of her face. "Give it back!" She tried to snatch it away, but he held it out of her reach. "So this is who it is, huh?" "What?" Grabbing her arm roughly he looked at her in the eyes. He looked at the Terrified look on her face. "So this is the Aiden you keep calling me by?" Shaking in her own shoes, she looked scared. She had no words for any of this, just silence. "Who is aiden? Perhaps a relative?" "..."Still not talking, she looked at him gritting her teeth with fear. "A cousin? Brother? Family friend? Or perhaps your boy-" "NO! SHUT UP!" "Tell me!"
"I don't have to answer to you!" "He was your boyfriend wasn't he?!" Gritting her teeth more, she looked at him for a couple seconds, then her look went to shock once more. She was looking at his eyes, and then she looked broken inside once again. "Katherine." His voice, his words, his face, so similar to Aiden's. She looked down at her feet, you could tell she was breaking. "Tell me, where is he now?" Pushing him away with her free arm, she yanked away from his grip. "I don't have to answer to you! Your just some stranger meddling into my business, who thinks he knows anything about this situation. You are sadly mistaken 'bout any of this!"
Grabbing her bag, she began to walk away."whatever, you have no reason to make me talk. You are powerless over any of this." She suddenly felt a strong grip hit her wrist, and pulling her back towards him. He looked deep in her eyes, and she had been pulled face to face with him. "What was it that you hated me calling you? I wonder if i truly don't have the power to make you talk," She knew what was coming, what he was going to say. "Kat." As soon as he called her that, her strong shell had broken for real this time. Her legs shaking, she feel on her knees as he was still holding onto her arm. She held the free hand to her face, and covered one of her eyes with it as she was shaking ferociously. She was just looking down on the ground, and he knelt next to her and moved toward her. His lips right infront of her ear, his breath hitting her ear.

"Don't forget i have the video after all, i can easily tell everyone that you were the one playing." Going pale, she was frozen to the core. "And i can easily tell people that you aren't as tough as they think, your weakness that is. So yeah, i do have the power over you." "Y-you...!" His face was serious, and she knew it. "So yeah, we are not going our separate ways. I want to get to know you better, so we are technically friends now. See you in class later, katherine. And, see you after school as well to work on the project TOGETHER." He moved his mouth away from her lip, looked at her and just smiled like it was nothing. He got up and walked back into the school, and katherine sat there trembling at what just happened. "D...DAMMIT! How...how could i let everything out infront of him?! How..how could i be so helpless! Damn you, lucas! Aiden...see what you did to me?!"
