Horon lifted Kuba from the ground and slammed him into a tree, destroying it to the ground. He grabbed his collar and flew up some height before throwing him to the ground. He hit the ground with a loud explosion.
He kicked Kuba back down as he tried to get up and then lifted his sword before bringing it back down with immense strength.
Kuba quickly rolled out of harm's way and picked up his scythe. He shoots his dark flame at Horon who used the side of his sword to slap it away.
Horon fought with no mercy in his heart. His eyes were filled with rage and anger. He didn't give Kuba any time to recover from his last attack before he does the next.
Kuba quickly disappeared into the black hole that appeared below him. And slowly emerged from behind Horon. But to his surprise, Horon turned and forced his sword through the black armor and into his stomach.
"I have seen that trick so many times"
He made another sword appear in his other hand and lunged it forward at Kuba who puts his hand up and the sword pierced into his hand armor. Blood gushed out of his hand and he looked Horon dead in the eyes.
He outstretched his other hand and his scythe flew towards him. Horon pulled out the sword he had used to stab Kuba in his stomach and chopped off his hand. Kuba screamed in pain and fell to the ground.
"You are no match against the god of war," Horon says before pulling out the other sword and stabbing it into Kuba's shoulder.
"You were merely trained to be able to use a sword. But I was born with a sword" Horon said while casually walking around Kuba who is on the ground writhing in pain.
He grabbed Kuba's armor and pulled him up to look him in the eyes.
Kuba placed his hand directly on Horon's shoulder and shoots out his black flames. It sent him flying back into the rubbles of the horizon.
He pulled out the sword that was plunged into his shoulder. He toss it away and picked up his scythe. He then walked up to Horon and placed his foot on his head.
"gods, god of war, where are the all so powerful gods now? All buried in a pile of rocks, and beneath my feet" Kuba stated while laughing uncontrollably.
Just then, a rock shifted and Ury stood up from the ground with her sword in her hand. Indeego, Barbarei, Rinonus, Arey, and Yelenia too got up from the rubbles.
He turned to the footsteps behind him to see Maruyn who he had punched down the Horizon.
He looked between the gods frightened. He thought them dead but now they all stood before him with their weapons.
"Look at this, eight powerful gods all wanting to kill a single mortal… have you no shame?" He started with a slightly shaking voice.
He took his leg off Horon's head and turned, trying to launch an attack at Maruyn who was alone, only for Ivanile's spear to drive into his chest.
He looked at her confused. She placed her hand on his face and his armor disappeared. She had taken away the powers she gave him.
Kuba fell to the ground blood dripping from his mouth. "Why?" He asked.
She looked at him for a moment before speaking.
"What do you think? I now have no use for you. Your fire has burned out" she answered.
"Five years ago, I watched you as you lost your son. Your dear son, I would have come to you then but your wife calmed you down and brought you back to your senses. It made me wonder how far you will go if I killed the wife you loved so so much. And by the looks of things, pretty far I'd say" she says with a mischievous grin.
He looked up at Ivanile with tears streaming down his eyes. He would have never thought, in his wildest dreams that his family was killed by the goddess of dark magic and mischief so she can use him.
He stood up from the ground and threw weak punches at Ivanile who used the under of her spear to knock him back down to the ground.
"Y-you, you are worse than all the other gods--I will kill you. I will make you pay for what you did"
Ivanile knelt in front of him and whispered in his ear.
"But I must thank you for what you did. You not only freed my devils but also killed a god. This is far better than what I foresaw" she said before taking some steps away from him.
He tried to grab her legs but couldn't reach her. He just lay there as the life slowly left his body.
Ivanile looked at the other gods before walking up to Horon. she extended her hand to help him up.
"You killed him" he muttered.
"I did. But that doesn't stop the darkness this world has plunged into--"
