In the beginning, the world was empty, there was nothing but rocks floating around in space, until the entity stroke a rock with his pinky finger and it exploded, forming the universe, planets, and also the first nine horizonians. (Arey and Ury didn't exist then), in place of Ury was Leely, the first goddess of beauty.
The gods used to wander around on earth, making plants pop out of the ground, and doing different stuff. It use to be just them. Until Horon got married to Barbarei and got a son, Arey, the speed god.
After seeing that a child popped out of another person, the gods asked the entity to make inferior creatures that they could help grow and help them with their daily life. Someone that would ask them for help when needed
He concurred. Snapped his fingers and the first set of humans was born. And then those humans reproduced too to give rise to other humans and those other humans to other humans the circle carried on with the horizonians living with the humans and helping them with things they can't do. Hundred of years later, one of the mortals killed his brother over some girl they both liked.
Maruyn wanted the mortal that killed another to be killed. He claimed that way humans would never kill their fellow humans since they will be aware of the punishment being death.
But Geesorum didn't want that to happen, saying killing the man would only make his family hate the horizonians and they might revolt against them to avenge the death of their son.
The argument continued until it reached the other gods. Indeego, Barbarei, Rinonus, Horon, and Leely supported Geesorum, saying that humans should not be killed. While Ivanile, Yelenia, and Arey supported Maruyn in the motion to kill the human.
It was just arguments at first but it escalated when Ivanile killed Leely and the sky went dark. That was the strike of the first calamity, a god had died. The world started to fall apart. This pained the other gods and they plunged into war. But only the mortals were dying.
The war went on for years, more and more of the mortals dying.
The entity had enough of this, he realized that leaving the war to go on would only bring the fall of the entire universe. so he struck the earth, splitting it into different continents. It was so tremendous that it made the war stop, and the gods were frightened and embarrassed by their actions.
He was disappointed in the gods so he built the horizon. A building in the sky where the horizonians would stay and not interfere with the mortals' activity, except if they ask for it then they'll descend to help them. As for the calamity that started, Indeego gave birth to a child, the new goddess of beauty, Ury. No one knows how, some say it's the child of Horon, the war god and some say it was just the work of the entity to stop the calamity.
He then warned them that if a god die, calamity strikes, and chaos will cloud the world.
Peace was then restored to the world and that way the humans learned to live with minimum help from the gods and grew to coordinate themselves.
But that wasn't all...
