Lain dormant for the last eighty years,

Waiting ever-so patiently for this day and moment to arrive,

So that it could dance across the sky unnoticed,

Considered insignificant to arrogant, costumed passerby.

Despite the lack of her acknowledgement,

The alluring blue moon crafted her spectacle along the painted sky,

For those with a keen eye,

And for those with a deep admiration for the simple beauty of nature,

That took millenniums for the universe to create.

How something so simple,

Was so beautifully complex in the vigorous making.

Dear blue moon,

We see you.

We admire you.

Let us get lost within your painted pallet colours,

The twinkle of your eye,

The blue...

Oh, so blue.

Come again soon.
