Gabe looked at me with fear in his eyes. I growled and set him down. "I'm not coming home Gabriel. Now if you'll excuse me I have a child to check on." I said turning to leave. "So you do give a shit about something after all." He called after me making me stop. Just..let it go Gabriel... "come one just admit it you give a shit" I turned with a snarl. "I do NOT give a shit about that child!" "Then why do you keep doing back then Micheal?" I was silent for a moment before speaking again. "I don't know ok? I don't know why I keep going black. But I'm drawn there all the fucking time and I can't fight it!" Gabriel looked up at me. "It's because a part of you does care Mikey and it's ok to care." "I don't want to but I do. I'm leaving now." He looked down before blinking away. I set out for Leah's house again feeding her and making sure she was ok.
About 16 years pass. I continued to go see her. Taking care of her. She smiled at me as she seen me climb in the window. Fuck she has a smile to die for. No! She's only sixteen dammit. My thoughts soon vanished as she hugged me. "Hey Mikey!" She cheered with a smile despite the marks on her arms. I hugged her back before lifting her sleeve. She frowned and pulled away. "It's nothing." "Bullshit. They're hurting you aren't they?" She looked down and slowly nodded. "You can't be here Mikey." She said not looking at me. "Why not?" "Just go!" I sighed and left. What the hell?! This keeps happening. She wants me there then doesn't. I wish she would make up her mind. I decide to say fuck it and go get a drink and come back later.
I climbed in her window again. "Leah we need to talk." She looked up." You're acting weird." She shrugged and looked away. Fuck it. It's not worth it. I turned to leave. She got up. "Don't. Don't you fucking leave me!" She protested. I stopped but didn't turn around. "Why? You act like you don't want me here so why should I?" I said before going to leave again. She grabbed a bookand threw it at my head. "Ow! What the fuck is your problem leah!?" She looked down seemingly feeling bad about what she did."don't leave." "You said that already but you act differently from what you say. Do you know how that fucks with people's heads?!" I said rubbing my head. "Or are you just trying to fucking toy with me? Which is it?" She started to say something but I stopped her. "I'm not a fucking toy for you to just toy with when you feel like it then toss aside when it gets broken!" She looks down again. "I'm sorry..." Her voice is quiet. "Sorry? Sorry for what leah? Do you even want me here?"
She looked down again with tears in her eyes. Fuck..just admit it.. "Do you?" "I do..I just..." She trails. "You what? Acting like a fucking bitch to the one person who's helped you? Shown you kindness? The person who got you away from Lucifer and that other asshole who kept you as his pet?" Man i need to calm down. She was silent for a moment. "I'm sorry I'm scared ok!" "Scared of what?" I ask. She looked away from me. "What are you afraid of leah?" "Nothing.." "bullshit." "Mikey..please just..drop it." "Fine." I turn to leave again. "No stop!" I walked over to her fucking pissed. Trying not to yell and failing. "WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU WANT FROM ME LEAH!?" I yelled.
She jumped a bit looking up. "I WANT YOU!" She yelled back. "YOU HAVE A SHIT WAY OF SHOWING IT!" "I KNOW!" "THEN FUCKING FIX IT!" "I'M TRYING!" "WELL TRY HARDER!" She looked me in the eyes. "I WILL!" "GOOD!" I turned again. "STOP!" "NO!" She looked down again. I hate this.."Please?.." "why should I?" She didn't say a word. "You can't even answer that..goodbye leah." It hurt saying goodbye more than it did yelling at her. She ran over and blocked the door. "Leah I'm not in the mood for this." She didn't move. "I don't care." "Neither do I now let me out." "NO!" "WHY NOT!?" She looked me in the eyes. "BECAUSE!" "BECAUSE WHY!?" "BECAUSE I FUCKING LOVE YOU!" She yelled. Finally.. "I LOVE YOU TOO!" I yell back. "GOOD!" "GOOD!" I yell before pinning her to the door and kissing her. I don't go any further as she's only sixteen.
